I know several kids, especially one, that have no intentions of playing soccer and crying this afternoon. I expect a very physical, old school type football game. Depending on LC's speed and ability to get into our secondary, this one may be close.

I enjoyed 4 years playing on a winning football team in high school and was in the playoffs each year and lost. I offer no excuses for losing. Never have, never will. I know what it is like to win & lose. Obviously, we are there to win. Why else show up? My point is that if these young men are giving 100%, and I know most of them are, they have a lot to be proud of regardless of the outcome. :thumb:

It has taken a little time to figure out their strengths. They must put more focus on defense and touch up the passing game on offense. I've seen teams like this lay down because of losses. These guys never quit regardless of their record or any negativity. If not this year, they will get their wins next year. Hang tough guys, you will get your reward. :ylsuper: At least 2 more wins this year. :thumb:

Another fine display of running the football by the Green. If only we had stuck to it during pivotal points in the game. Also, why kick deep to those two great athletes? I am in no way trying to take anything away from McCreary. Great athletes make their plays one way or another. I think the dragons gave 100% for 4 quarters. They are all heart. But we continue to make mistakes from the sidelines. :madman: Congratulations to McCreary. It is good to see your program on the rise. :thumb:

As a former player, coach, and now a fan, I never understood who benefits from that rediculous horn. For whom does that noise benefit? Does it actually fire any one up? That sound is an annoyance. I'd rather listen to crying babies. Give me the sound of the band and a roaring crowd. :thumb: Just a personal opinion.

You McCreary guys are true sportsmen. We don't get much respect around here. Seems like just a lot of negativity. Support is definately a BIG part of success. We have certainly had a tough start this year and last Friday gave us something to build on. Good luck to you guys, except for Friday. No prediction, but look forward to a good game. :thumb:

This was a 7-0 ballgame. Could have went either way. I'm not one to make excuses, but with small schools like Pineville & Harlan you take what you have and make the best of it. Both teams appeared to love playing the game of football and played to the best of their ability. As a player, if you leave it on the field and give 100%, there is no shame. It was a great game to watch for an old football fanatic like me. Keep your heads up Coach Elam and team! Go Dragons! :thumb:
