  1. Scotts defense and serve receive are slightly weak. However, if they just get the ball up and to Tibbs, chances are she is getting a kill. And she puts up a "wall" of a block. They are a very exciting team to watch. I hope to be able to see them again this season.
  2. Make friends with with people you "normally" wouldn't. The friends and professors you meet in college will become a giant network you may need one day. Keep an open mind. Study hard and get good grades. Get your degree in something with an open job market in which ever area you plan to live in. Trust me! One bad grade can bring down your GPA. It is very difficult to bring up your GPA to where it was before that bad grade. Again, trust me! Party hard but don't let it interfere with your grades. Don't go home every weekend. Go to all the social events you can. Join an intramural sport. Call your parents. Be safe! Enjoy college and enjoy living on campus. It's a great experience that everyone should have!
  3. Does anyone have a link to this article? I would love to read it.
  4. Today was a Good Day - Ice Cube Thug Passion - Tupac Gin and Juice And on the R&B side - anything by Escape
  5. To say this is frightening is an understatement! How many times does a kid who doesn't want to run laps "feel bad"? And I agree that this kid is now blackballed from every other roster. I wouldn't want to coach him.
  6. I agree! There is a whole lot of talent among these teams.
  7. Thanks for the information breadwinner. I had no idea. That is great news. Hopefully this info gets out to all the parents of young kids. I know I will be telling people about it.
  8. Connor, Bellevue, and technically Notre Dame? Lots of changes. Should be an interesting season. I don't know of any teams progress either. IMO Boone and Beechwood are in good hands. Christina and Jessie are great girls with high ambitions for these teams. They both have a lot of passion for the game and I expect to see great things unfold in their coming years.
  9. This is very interesting. You would think that by reputation alone, NCC would be higher than 19?
  10. I really liked Laura too, brains and beauty! Too bad Ronnie figured that out. I'm pulling for Jeff to win it all. I like Casey too. I think that Jordan will go home this week. She is easy to get rid of and doesn't really have any one on her side except Jeff.
  11. That is terrible news. We will be praying for you Michael.
  12. I don't coach right now. I have coached in Northern KY high schools and with NKJV. Why do you ask?
  13. Scott is going to be tough this year. If they work on their defense, they will be tough to beat. Im going with St. Henry as my top choice in the 9th followed with NDA, Scott, and Boone. IMO Highlands is going to have a hard time replacing Pelgen on the outside. I never count NCC out. They always seem to rebuild. My vote however is on Campbell County.
  14. From what I remember, and my memory isn't too good, its going to be a rebuilding year for many schools that usually fall into most peoples top ten. Campbell County (region 10) had a lot of young talent last year. NCC, Ryle, and St Henry all lost some key seniors.
  15. Kindergarten wow! It used to be just soccer and tball that started that young. I guess that is what we need to start doing in northern KY to keep up with Louisville! I sure hope that interest continues to grow in young kids.
  16. What a great article! Good job Taylor!:thumb:
  17. Great season HHS!! Congrats to NCC and to Jenny! I hope to see her get her 700th win.
  18. Wow! Anything could happen, HHS is playing really good right now!
  19. that is the first time since 2001 that HHS has won its own tournament! great job ladies! you looked great out there. ANd congrats on your 2nd win over CCHS this year!!
  20. Highlands travels to Ryle tomorrow. Any predictions?
  21. i just would have expected a closer match thats all.
