I don't coach right now. I have coached in Northern KY high schools and with NKJV. Why do you ask?

Scott is going to be tough this year. If they work on their defense, they will be tough to beat. Im going with St. Henry as my top choice in the 9th followed with NDA, Scott, and Boone. IMO Highlands is going to have a hard time replacing Pelgen on the outside. I never count NCC out. They always seem to rebuild. My vote however is on Campbell County.

From what I remember, and my memory isn't too good, its going to be a rebuilding year for many schools that usually fall into most peoples top ten. Campbell County (region 10) had a lot of young talent last year. NCC, Ryle, and St Henry all lost some key seniors.

Kindergarten wow! It used to be just soccer and tball that started that young. I guess that is what we need to start doing in northern KY to keep up with Louisville! I sure hope that interest continues to grow in young kids.

im going to go with CCHS over Boone in 3 St Henry over Ryle in 2 Holy Cross over Dixie in 3 Highlands over Villa in 2

it was a great match. IMO it could have went either way. Both teams have great setters, really good hitters, and solid defense. HHS hitters were having a hard time getting around CCHS block. It was solid almost every time. Penrod is tough! So it CCHS Libero, Grimes. Great job to Pelgen, Fosset and Rixon from HHS too. Good Job Camels.

Campbell County host Highlands tonight. Should be a great match!

lets not forget about nkjv in nky too. i know as a previous club coach most programs do not penalize for kids that play school sports or are involved with other school related activities...

I forgot all about HOly Cross. I was going off the original top ten that was listed. Holy Cross will compete with SK, Lloyd, CCHS and Scott for one of those last three to four spots..............IMO

Im going to go with................... 1. Newport Central Catholic 2. Notre Dame 3. St. Henry 4. Ryle 5. Highlands 6. Boone County 7. Scott 8. Campbell County 9. Simon Kenton 10. Lloyd but I do agree that there is a quite a gap following NCC, Notre Dame and St Henry.

She has done a fantastic job with Ludlows volleyball program. Glad to hear that the rumor is false.
