Highlands travels to Independence to face Simon Kenton tonight in what should be a tightly contested match. Both teams may face each other again this weekend in Scott's September Slam. Any thoughts on who will come away with the win?

Simon has a nice win over Boone and has played Ryle, Henry Clay and Lafayette tough. Although Highlands doesn't have a high quality win yet, they have beaten the teams that they should (with the exception of Logan Co.) I will go with Simon in a tough 3 set match but would not be surprised by a Bluebird triumph.

She had a ankle sprain but should be ready to play tonight. The young lady is a sophmore and has filled in quite nicely. Another sophmore was the starter at the beginning of the season but she suffered a broken finger. SK has a young team of juniors and sophmores, but, if they are on they should pull out a victory. Highlands will battle them. SK has a tough stretch ahead with a match tonight, Thurs and the Spet Slam over the weekend which begins Friday night with two matches.

Less than expected from Simon Kenton or much more than expected from Highlands?
