Is it going to be the same field location that everyone said was just a bad idea two years ago? Busy street, no parking? Rumor had it that Milt and Ron had this worked out in the past and the AD told them no way! I think this is awesome for the girls in the future maybe alphabet soup wasnt to crazy after all.

Agree also over he 4 years my kid played I thought the JC game was the one we looked forward to then the CC at our house. Yes you can say the same thing there 4-0 lead there but that was the challenge game of the year. Not CC

Agree on that one. We have not made many games the last two years since Austin grad but on Friday the Wife was ready to get to the game.

So to set the reord straight before leaving this thread. I have wished Rob the best of luck on here and in person.

That question was asked last year and was told no dice. The AD wanted the girls to stay on campus. The city was offering them lower Woodfill and was ready to do the work needed for dugouts fences just like highland park. The knothole legue was willing to pay funds to help like they have at Bartlet and other fields but was shot down cause of safety reasons. The AD didn't want the girls crossing 27 where they just built the new school in Town. No other fields were options either per AD. So not real sure of The real reason of not moving but I have suspicions and I'll just leave it at that.

Come on I have no dirty laundry to air. Heck I don't even have a kid in the program or at the school for that matter. And I know how to stir the pot if I want to. This is about Rob and how he will do a good job with teach the girls the fundamentals of the game. I have no doubt about that at all he will do a good job. I truly think Rob will take the program to the next level and continue the direction it was headed. Again congrats Rob and good luck.
