HHS sat 11 am. Was told today that veggie soup is starting at Qb. He can't wait to take his turn at the helm leading a this very talented group of young men. Could be fun.

I would agree with you. Both teams looked good and both teams have a really good running back. I am really glad that we started with the Red Devils right out of the shout. Since there are so many parents that have taken there kids from Ft Thomas to play there because we are not competitive enough and now hopefully some of those parents will start to reconsider playing once again in the league where they live and will be going to school.

Not sure who the top teams are in the NKYFL this season In The SR division. I can tell you this from what I saw this weekend out of the two frjrfl teams they were both plenty physical. From what I saw last night when the Blue team played the CCRD who's team was made up of half its players from ft Thomas and coaches from ft Thomas the boys in blue handled the Red Devils pretty easily. Looked like the kids were out of air towards the end of the game as the blue boys just kept on rocking. It will be a fun season for all the boys who are playing in the first season of the nkyfl for the baby birds. I enjoy watching the boys learning to play the game while winning along the way. Coach Abner had has boys ready to play even after they moved the game time up an hour on him that morning. I am sure first of many wins for what most people out side the program call a weak not very physical soft program. I never understood why parents take there kids out of the frjrfl and play them other places. Maybe with this move of the Sr to the nkyfl they will see that we do play real football in Fort Thomas!!

the 8th graders were split into two teams and moved to the nkyfl to get the kids a little playing time against other teams. For the record one of the teams played tonight against the Red Devils and beat them 19-7. I would say with that effort today shows the opposite of what you are saying. All we hear is how great the CCRD are. We took kids split them up evenly on two teams and competed nicely. That change was the first of several changes to improve the league as a whole.

Thats the way it goes when you want to be a QB at a great program. My son knows to play his Soph or Jr year the football Gods will have to be looking down on Him like they were for Pat when Wil Bardo got hurt against St X. You have to work hard and earn the spot and playing time. Beau played wide receiver till it was his turn to play. Just the way it is at HHS.

There are a couple of big targets one is Jack Delagrange tall fast and good hands. Joey Deshler and Tyler Brune just to name a few.

Just for the record it's Collin Hollingsworth maybe the only thing I can spell right. Yes all the QBs looked good. I asked Collin what stats they were keeping at practice and he just laughed at me and everyone on here. He said no more reading or posting for the next 4 years. So I'm out again. Good luck to all the boys it's going to be fun season. I think this class is loaded with some great players. It will be the one who throws the ball around the most and not to just one guy. For the records all QBs threw INT fri night. But I can tell you this the one who lives here is down stairs now watching the game film to get better.

I agree with stinkboy very nicely ran event. Thought the HHS boys all around looked pretty solid. Thought the Zell kid played well on both sides of the ball along with Alfeld. From the looks of things it's going to be a good fun fight to see who gets the starting ball at Qb for the birds. I thought they both played better then the other three QB from the other teams. On the KE fromt that kid is a stud. We saw him last in a junior league game and he just ran all over the field. I would think Ryle willnt be throwing much this year with him in the back field.

Tough day isnt the word for it!!! I wonder if he shouldnot have played at all. There was no way he didnt have a concussion after thathit last week and the way he was running around and then fell to the ground.Plus the backup Jack led them to the win the last two weeks. That call made nosense to me. The head dominated that entire game but the score. A sad day forthe seniors to go out like that at home.

My son plays for MSU on the def side of the ball and had some of the nicest things to say about coach. We got a text message from him at 5:00 am Sunday morning saying he had been there all night. He said he was a great man and coach who would give you his shirt off his back if you asked for it. He will be missed!!!!!!

Just heard OC Mullins was diagnosed with lung cancer, We wish him the best of luck. We will be praying for him and his family and hope you will join us with the prayers

Not just last year! MY son has been on the team for 4 years now and I think the Def never been very good. Two years ago at Butler they gave up 21 points in the last 10 min of the 4th qtr to lose.

We hope this time around the Def will get a little better with hire. Coach Wright has been promoted to run the def next year. He coached the d-line the last two seasons and has done a great job with them. We are looking forward to seeing some changes at MSU next year and one of them would be if they can stop someone from scoring!!! Congrats coach I know #95 is excited to see what's going to happen.

Coach Turner may be the best o-line coach in the state. He takes a group of young Men works his magic as only he can do the magic Man.

Give us some names to watch for! I know there will be a Huddelston wearing the blue again is year. Any other younger brothers or new ones to watch for??

YES THEY DID!!! I may even try and and make the run down. This is what we talked about 6 years ago when we started to draw up the plans for the Bird Cage!! Congrats to everyone and Milt nice job finishing what you started.

It was nice to read that HHS won the title on the H field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a awesome looking place. Milt and some other guys did a great job getting that field there!!! Keep up the hard work girls it will pay off!!!
