Only change I would make to your statement is enough of the community to support any athletic program. There is support, enough is a different story.

Is the game being played with officials? or is it call your own fouls?

Not enough school teams to make it competitive. Keeping the club status allows for more wiggle room for the teams. Sport just isnt big enough yet. Give it another 6-8 years and might be a different story.

Another impact to consider is that less and less kids have their licence at 16 anymore to drive to the event, even together as a group.

Time to move away from Rupp. No Kentucky kids play for Kentucky anymore, there's no allure to play at Rupp anymore.

You can blame the middle school administration for that.
