There is a Red vs Blue scrimage Friday @ the middle school. I'm going to be there, I know it is only an intersquad scrimage but it will be a chance to see their new "O".

Has anyone seen the Rockets lately and what does the new offense look like? From what I hear they will be one of the best conditioned Rocket teams in a long time and that is saying alot.

I am not sure but he does not lift 225 30 times, I think he could do it about 15 to 20 times

Cole Abney 6'2", 210 lbs., Rockcastle 11th grader to be age 16, did 225 lbs. thirty (30) times today and racked it. I'm not sure but I think that is crazy strong.

The Rock has a couple of new kids, one looks to be nice size, could be a receiver, the other one is huge, but unknown quality, but works hard and is strong/ I did see some of their practice the otherday and Cole Abney Has put on 20 plus pounds and is very strong, he was abusing some people on the practice field, looks alot like his older brother only bigger and stronger but with the same drive and determination, very focused.

Rockcastles weight room has 33'2 22's 11's 5.5's along with the 45's 35's.... Cole Abney benches around 350 now and is shootin for 365, his power clean is 300 and he's just shy of 315.And his sqaut last time he maxed was 455. He is 6'1'' 225 and is a sophmore.

How big are theses two?

I didn't mean to cause such a stir with my comment " anything above .500 wil be an improvement". I've known Scott Parkey his whole life and he is a fine young man and there is know reason to put undo pressure on him and the young men he will be coaching with our lofty expectations. I am a big fan of the Rockets and had a son that played with the two state runner-up teams, I know what it's like for the Rockets too win big. I want them to go 10-0 and take a trip to Louisville, it is better to be surprised than disappointed.

I'm with Leonidas, lets give Parkey a chance. 50 ppg is a big jump, and only allowing 7ppg is "00-02" stats. I hope you are right but what you are suggesting is a tall order. I want them to go 15-0, but better than .5oo wil be an improvement.

Rockcastle does have 3 starting sophmores. Cole Abney, Dustin Bisop but he is out due to liver problems and Derek Thacker. Cole Abney start boths ways. Matt Bullens and Jamie Todd ahve had to step up too due to the 16 injuries on the Rockcastle team

The Rocks line stepped it up tonight. And the Rock played like Rockcastle should played. Coach Larkey whipped them into shape.

Yes the Rockets kicked a 32 yard feild goal in the southwestern game.

Rockcastle County has built up there injuried list but one player is expcected to back for the Bell county game. This game will be a close game to call. Theses are two hard nosed teams goin head to head. Both teams have the talent. But i am pullin for the Rockets with the score of 14-7.

Rockcastle defense is always at the top of its game they will be great on defense.

Sevaral teams attended Jabez. Rockcastle, lyn camp, pike trimble, boyle and a few others. You get up and run before breakfast atleast the rock does and then there are three practices through out the day.

The Rock did very well at Jabez they walked away owning the camp yet again the rock came out to show who there really are, Rockcastle County Rockets. Their defence will still be at the top.

I don't know that much about Clay County, but I understand that have some speed and William Blair a former Rockcastle player and assistant coach has joined the Clay County staff. He will be helping improve the Clay County "D". I know William is a fine young man and was a very good player for Rockcastle.

Rockcastle County has a freshman 15yrs old, he benched 285, squated 450, and power cleaned 275 pounds that is impresive as a freshman. This rockcastle freshman also only weighs 195. The upper classmen are monsters in the weight room.
