I went to go grab a program but I'm told there are none. Something about the printer missing some parts. :idunno: -
Dixie Heights 46 Tates Creek 18
nkuclubbaseball19 replied to colonel_red's topic in KY Football (High School)
Great game by the Colonels. They came out of the gate and executed their offense. On defense, they made a quick adjustment to shut down the Tates Creek offense. I believe they made it out of the game injury free and will be healthy for next week's rematch with Ryle. I hope the offensive lineman that went down for Tates is okay. Scary moment as he collapsed to the ground while getting into his stance. I believe I heard it was just a shoulder sprain but am hoping it's nothing more severe. -

She was underage right? So the legal limit for her would be .02. Which means she was at a .12 if she was 6 times over. -
Heard from a player that they had a lot to work on still and need a leader to step up. It's early though so there is plenty of time to get things corrected. I have never gone to see a TMC basketball game before but I think I'll find myself at a few this year.

New York Post's Controversial Cover
nkuclubbaseball19 replied to Watusi's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I am strongly disagree with President Obama in regards to many decisions but at the same time, I think the cover is lacking class. The office of President of the United States is the top office in our country and whoever it is should be treated with class. -

First time in history that there have been 100 women in Congress so it's moving in the right direction. Slowly but it is trending upwards. -
Random: I almost ran for office this year until I moved. In the future I foresee myself running for something.

He has been to all workouts and practices. I see no reason for that to change at this point. -
Oh, I forgot I had a beer with Dusty Baker once. It was the night the Reds won the Central on Bruce's walkoff in 2010. I went down to Fountain Square with a friend, then to the stadium to get a copy of the paper, and then headed back to the square. After awhile of partying with hundreds/thousands of Reds fans we decide to head to Headfirst sports bar. On the way we walked by Cordero, momentarily said hi to him. Once at Headfirst I noticed Dusty at the bar so I walked over to buy him a beer. He ended up buying me a beer and we talked for a few. Real nice guy.

Villa Hills Mayoral debate.......
nkuclubbaseball19 replied to Oldtimebaseball84's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
Butch Callery has won the mayoral election for Villa Hills with 45% of the vote. Brown 25%, Martin 18%, and Menninger-Isenhour 8%. Mayor Callery will be surrounded by a very different council than the one that was just in office. Waugaman 12% (New to council) Ringo 11% (Previous council member, voted out in 2012 election) Kilburn 11% (Previous council member, voted out in 2012 election) Bruns 10% (Previous council member, voted out in 2012 election) Koenig 10% (Returns to council after being elected in in 2012) Yost-Vaden 9% (New to council) Others receiving votes: Berger 9%, Wischer 9%, Hilgeford 8%, Sogar 5% (had withdrawn from race so couldn't win) -
Voting experiences today

Off topic (but still relevant) question: What is the best place to follow results in everyone's opinion? Typically I just wait until late night or the next morning to check various tv stations or websites to get the result but I'm wanting to follow a races closely this year and would like to find the most up to date/current results. -
Voting experiences today
nkuclubbaseball19 replied to Bluegrasscard's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
I voted this morning around 11:15 at River Ridge Elementary in Villa Hills. Walked right up to the table that was designated for my address, handed them my idea, waited about 5 minutes while the guy tried to figure out how the alphabet worker and where my name was. Once he found it I signed the book and was handed my ballot. Took about 7 or 8 minutes to fill in all the boxes before I walked to the machine and inserted my ballot. Turned around to leave when a guy tapped me on the shoulder to give me my ballot. Overall things went smoothly. -
Rankings mean nothing about how a team is.
