Just like every team that ever plays that Independence team shouldn't make the the trip because there are 20 D1 players on their team and they are the greatest ever? Nobody said Ryle shouldn't make the trip (other than you and FTN) so quit trying to stir the pot. The game on Friday will be a good one but I look for Dixie to come away with a victory.

I agree with your post but also must say I'm not pro-police in every situation. In his situation though he only gave the end result (a breathalyzer) and nothing beforehand. There are jerk cops who probably have given breathalyzers for no reason but I also believe the vast majority are given for a reason. And as I stated in my post to him, typically field sobriety tests are given before a breathalyzer is used (although I believe field sobriety tests to be a sham) but he mentioned nothing about whether those were given. If a breathalyzer is given with no field sobriety tests given beforehand (or no option of them being given I maybe should say), could that be an illegal search? Disclaimer: I ask because I do not know the answer.

Because he did nothing wrong. I'm glad we don't purposefully try to prosecute innocent people just for the sake of public opinion.

And you don't know what happened when they went off the screen. Do you know that he didn't end up in front of the car while trying to back away from her? Because if you were there and saw that (which it sounds like you were since you keep stating "he got mad and jumped on the hood" as if it were fact), you should've alerted the prosecutor and told him your side of the story. And every report I've seen says he fired 4 shots. Not 16 which is what unloading the clip would be.

My take on the last few pages of posts. 1) Officer Brockman is a victim in this case. 2) Samantha Ramsey is a perpetrator in this case. For those that disagree ask yourself this: Would she have been charged and most likely in jail had she lived? I think yes on the grounds of DUI, assault of an officer, disobeying a police order, fleeing and evading, and other charges. 3) The fact that she was drunk and high most definitely should've been presented to the grand jury. It corroborates Deputy Brockman's side of the story in which he stated she appeared intoxicated (she was) and was ignoring his request for her to stop. 4) I don't think cops make the decision to jump on the hood of a car for no reason. Now I can see them making that decision if they've been hit by the car and possibly are about to be run over (which is what the reports say Deputy Brockman was facing).

There had to be a reason the cop asked you to do a breathalyzer. Were you swerving? Did your truck smell like alcohol? And typically you do field sobriety tests first. Many unanswered questions from your posts. And a 4x4 truck in Boone County is more common that not so I fail to see where profiling took place.
