How did Bivens and Feldhaus do?
-
Newport 52 Cooper 26
Bivens has really been a workhorse for the cats early on in this season. I believe she had 20 pts and 18 rebounds this game.

Holmes @ Newport Predictions (12/9)
Yes. Can't wait to be in attendance and see how prepared Coach Russell has these boys against the Bulldogs.

Desales 24 Newport 12
Turnovers have been the demise of Newport all season fumbling the ball twice inside your own 20 was devastating for the Cats. On offense they couldn't really get much going but Oden and Slusher did break off some huge td's. I tip my cap to the Newport seniors they really turned some heads and stepped up for Coach Hyder. Good luck to DeSales in the rest of the playoffs.

Newport / Dayton Predictions
The Wildcats are improving every week and Dayton is coming off of their first win of the season. With that said I believe Newport will win in the 2-3 touchdown range.

Dayton vs Bishop Brossart
It's week 9 and about time Dayton gets a W. With Richardson at runningback Dayton will name the score in this one.

Holy Cross / Newport Predicitons
It would be an upset because nobody expects them to beat Holy Cross as you can tell by this thread. I have total confidence in these Newport boys and can't wait for the game Friday.

Newport 2008/2007
I second that about Housely being all about himself. He always has been and it is going to be quite interesting to see how it unfolds at Holmes with him not being the top dog.

Dark-horses in Northern Kentucky in 2008/2009 season.
Brewer is right handed and a very talented basketball player. He lived in Louisville the summer before his freshman year and went to Louisville Southern temporarily. He ended up back at Newport for the start of football season and since then has had several discipline problems. Hopefully he has finally gotten it together but only time can tell.

Darnell will be playing this year I don't know where that rumor came from

Newport 2008/2007
Sadly enough neither Tucker, Brewer, or Alford are reliable enough for the wildcats to count on this season. I don't remember Alford being much of a basketball player regardless. I'd rather put my faith in Cody Collins, David Darnell, Casey McDaniel and others. Good luck on the season Coach Russell.

It's great to hear Conner is slowly on his way back on the gridiron for the Birds.

Turnovers have been the demise of Newport in every loss this season. On a positive note Daniel Kim seemed to be in the mix of things quite a bit. Also #12 Price leaves it all on the one field every game I commend that young man. Best of luck to the Breds and Cats the rest of the season.

Arkansas is a Junior at Newport. Both he and Brandon Tucker will be on the Wildcat roster. Newport has the potential to be very dangerous this year.

Ludlow/Newport Scrimmage
#12 for Newport is Willie Price who looks poised to have a strong senior season. I am looking forward to Collins at the Quarterback position the young man should do fine.
