  1. They will actually be losing two players after this season. David Darnell and Pat Klaas (the boy who recieved the technical foul). Brewer hasn't played all season but Jamon Greene is now rightfully the 6th man for the Cats. This was an amazing game I am so proud of Newport they never gave up when people starting heading for the doors when they were down by 10. Hopefully they keep their heads on straight and continue to work hard on the defensive end which leads to their offensive success.
  2. What happened with Greene and Tucker? Greene has been inactive the last 2 games not exactly sure why. If true that really delivers a blow to the Cats. Tucker has really been a head case the past few years it such a shame that talent is going to go to waste once again. Russell just cant seem to get it done down at Newport when will the higher ups put 2 and 2 together. Year in and year out talent has gone down the drain.
  3. Newport's offense is a disaster I don't understand the plays Russell comes up with. They have Darnell either at the top of the key or on the perimeter 95 percent of the time. They need to post him up and feed him the ball down low. This wasn't a fun game to watch at all very sloppy by both teams. Trimpe knocked down a few 3's in the 3rd and after that it was curtains for the Cats.
  4. Reynolds and Henderson are only juniors this year. Steele of Alabama is the first person that pops into my mind. Also when Redick was at Duke that seemed like a decade.
  5. Jodie and Patrick will get theirs but not too sure it will be enough. Look for the Vols to squeak by at home.
  6. Couldn't of happened to a better kid. Everyone at Newport absolutely loves Cody Collins. McDaniel had a great first half and the rest of the Cats picked it up 2nd half. "We want Cody, We want Cody". Also, why wasn't Jamon Greene playing tonight?

  8. Coach Hyder resigned a couple of weeks ago.
  9. Not only a nice player on the court she is an all around great kid.
  10. Bivens has really been a workhorse for the cats early on in this season. I believe she had 20 pts and 18 rebounds this game.
  11. Yes. Can't wait to be in attendance and see how prepared Coach Russell has these boys against the Bulldogs.
  12. You definitely have to check out FAO Schwarz it is great aroud Christmas time. Times Square at night is absolutely beautiful. Also head to the Rockefeller Center and check out the infamous Christmas Tree.
  13. A great game will be tomorrow's matchup between Duke and Purdue.
  14. This concert is with Seether and it is on Feb 27th I believe. Seether is phenomenal in person I hope I am able to go to this.
  15. Entourage is my favorite show on tv now and every week Piven reminds me why. He and Lloyd are hysterical on a weekly basis. It will be interesting to see what they have in store heading back to Queens. I have heard that Michael Phelps will be a guest on the finale.
  16. When thinking of the greatest rock and roll band the Beatles stick out as my number one. They are closely followed by Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Kiss, ACDC, and Lynard Skynard.
  17. Great show I was a little iffy after the first two episodes but it has really picked up since. Good to hear it will return for a 2nd season.
  18. You'll shoot your eye out kid. Christmas Story by far is my favorite holiday movie.
  19. The deal is definitely going down the drain he won't come close to matching his stats from last season. HUGE RISK
  20. Shaq needs the Lakers more than they will ever need him again. I guess he sees his career winding down and has came to the conclusion he's not going to get a title with the Suns.
  21. Evans, Samuels, Walker, Derozen, and Holiday would be my top 5 as of right now
  22. Turnovers have been the demise of Newport all season fumbling the ball twice inside your own 20 was devastating for the Cats. On offense they couldn't really get much going but Oden and Slusher did break off some huge td's. I tip my cap to the Newport seniors they really turned some heads and stepped up for Coach Hyder. Good luck to DeSales in the rest of the playoffs.
  23. The Wildcats are improving every week and Dayton is coming off of their first win of the season. With that said I believe Newport will win in the 2-3 touchdown range.
