Newport played a good game... shouldve ran away with it... they once had a lead of 14... but costly turn overs determined the game....they'll bounce back... go cats!!

How did Bivens and Feldhaus do?

Bivens was in foul trouble the entire second half. She picked up two quick fouls (her 3rd and 4th) in the first minute of the 3rd quarter. Therefore, she sat the rest of the third, and half of the 4th. She still finished with 14 points. The two guards, Borgemecke sp? and Cheatum both played with 4 fouls for pretty much the entire second half. Feldhaus had a great game, and really set the tone in the first half.

 

Like npt said, Newport handled this game for 26 minutes. Costly turnovers gave Bellevue a chance to get back in it, they took full advantage of the opportunity and never looked back.
