Another solid win for the cougars as they knock off one of the hotter teams in NKY as of late. Can anyone tell what Scott's record was previous to this game? Good timely hitting by Conner also, as they left 7 runners on base on top of their 14 runs. Nice shot for Hiller from Scott over the 294 marker in right. Only complaint would prob be the few very very questionable calls by the home plate ump. Congrats Cougars keep on rolling! It's always the most fun when no one expects you to win a game!

According to the KHSAA scoreboard the final score was actually 10-6 in favor of Beechwood. Kind of suprised that Bellevue hung in their and kept it close.

Those were the top 2 players in NKY, IMO.

In the NKY area Austin Pugh of Conner has got to be one of the best sophomores I have seen this year. That kid can flat out hit and he bats 3rd in a pretty solid lineup. Ronald Cotton of Boone County is doing pretty well. He is batting lead off and starting in center field.

Woodruff from Campbell is a good pitcher as well, but when he gets no run support it's tough to win a game.

Is Scott a 10th region team?

The 33rd is tough this year with Ryle, Boone and Conner

And Conner's hole(filled) infield isn't as solid as it's been in the past.:lol::lol: That probably had alot to do with it.

Definitely a different Highlands club this year from last.
