Suprising score, I thought Beechwood would win by much more.

Yeah, God forbid someone should want to give the Bellevue boys some credit. Obviously had to be an "off" night for Beechwood with one of their top pitchers going. Sheesh.

 

Props to Larrimore for coming in and shutting down the Bellevue bats. He had great command and location for the most part and was really bringing it for a little over 4 innings. He did a great job.

Congrats to Bellevue for not being intimidated and coming right out and putting the pressure on Beechwood .It seems Coach Sanders has began to improve things there .

Well, after speaking to Snyder's mom she said that her son had zero focus on the game. Earlier that day Myerhoff and the team headed to go give Coach Brown a contribution. But at that visitation Snyder started to think about how the last time he saw his father was at a visitation, so Snyder was having a difficult time focusing on the game. But Bellevue did a great job with the bats untill Larrimore came into and shut them down.

According to the KHSAA scoreboard the final score was actually 10-6 in favor of Beechwood. Kind of suprised that Bellevue hung in their and kept it close.

Not suprised at all...This isn't the same Bellevue Tigers that have been down for so many years. Coach Sanders has been there now, three years I believe. When you get someone as dedicated as Coach, things will turn around. Beechwood may have a little more talent, but for some to say their suprised the Tigers kept it close, well, that's just not given credit where credit is do.

That is a very nice thing for Beechwood and their team to do. I am sure Myerhoff played coach Brown many times, he was a great guy and a great role model. As far as the focus goes for Snyder, I can understand where he is coming from. Losing a family member is very tough, but this young man is strong and I have no doubt that he will bounce back from this bad outing and will continue to do well on the mound.

Give props to the Bellevue boys for hangin tough for a while and playing with one of the best teams in the state. The Tigers are slowly but surely turning that program around. Hunter Jones is a quality player who can be a great leader over the next couple years.
