I am definitely looking forward to the upcoming season, Purple Pride! I think the district is really wide open, and I can't wait to see how things play out. Of course, I am hoping that Lincoln comes out as champ! My sons tell me that we have some scrimmages next month with Tates Creek and Bryan Station, among others....so I am anxious to see how we fare against those really good teams! :popcorn:

I'm not so sure about Danville, either.....however, I do think the district is wide open. It will be interesting to see who's on top at the end of the season. I did hear from a supposed reliable source that several of Boyle's "veterans" had decided not to play basketball this year for whatever reasons. And didn't Boyle lose a few players to graduation also? Yes, Lincoln will be starting a sophomore point guard, who is the little brother of our senior pg from last season. But we did very well in summer ball with him AND our freshman point guard. I think a lot of people will be surprised by LC this season and how good they will be come March! :thumb:

What number jersey did Morton wear last year for LCA? We played (and beat) them several times and I don't remember ANY player that stood out among the others...especially one who is ranked like that!:idunno:

I thought there was a rule that said that colleges were not allowed to contact or recruit a player until something like May or June of his Sophomore year of high school. Did I dream that? How old is Hicks anyway? I know he is a "freshman" but is he a true freshman?

I definitely agree that Tyson belongs on the list...but I think 6'5" is pushing it by about 2 inches. With shoes he's probably 6'4", but at my last measurement, he was 6'3". And I can't wait to see him as a senior!!!:ylsuper:
