So lets get this straight, Louisville has a official offer on the table. Western Kentucky has a official offer on the table. Kentucky has her high on the list. Duke is now in the mix to sign Hammond or they have her on the list also? My question is this? If this is true, what has she not broke her arm to commit? Ask the "horse" that if you would. I like this kid. Im sure she is a outstanding athlete. I however have talked to some other people that know her game as well and got their opinion also. They agree with my assessment of her game at this point. They agree she has tremendous potential, but they question the drive like I do. Plus her outside game is not up to par as of this time. If you dont care, please tell the "horse" to have her work on these things. Or better yet, I will tell Christy, she is the coach.

SSF you had not better say anything that goes against what these two say or you will be told you know nothing about basketball. And you guys talk about me being a legend in my own mind, lol. Big Impact you are the one that came on here to set the record straight about the move to LCA, so I figured you could shed some light on that situation. I had already heard that there were problems there and that bigimpact came from someone who would know. So dont even question me on this one. Thats why you keep referring to how Rock will do, by saying they have to have chemistry. Your own players talk to others who talk to others. Its common fact there is friction from the players to the coaching staff with players and parents. As for who has been to the state tourney and who has been offered by Louisville? Hammond is the only one of those players that has been to the sweet 16. As for her being offered by Louisville, I think that you might need to check with someone on this as I dont know if this is true or not as you are the only one that is reporting this. As for the others, you should not put them down. Salyers and Brown are both good players. Very good. I think Saylers is the only one that has actually going to sign on the dotted line. Saylers as I have stated is going to play the 4 at the next level or I think thats where she is going to play( oldballcoach I am sure will correct me if thats wrong) and she is physically able to match up. Brown is getting alot of looks also. Western is looking very strong. Not offered yet, or so I have been told. As for her scoring 18-20 at the tourney in Louisville this summer, she may have, but it was not one the several games I saw her play in. Maybe 18-20 combined for the tourney. Again I am not saying she is not a great kid. Im sure she is and she is gonna be a great player. She just needs to hire you as her agent and PR person. You still cannot take constructive criticism. One things for sure, it wont be long till we see, right guys?

The main point I think most here want to make is that the fans from Northern Kentucky and Louisville are no better than everyone else that has not been as close as they have for all these years. Then when you come off as this is the worst thing since the great depression birdsfan, then you give the impression that those are better than everyone else. Thats why you have people calling you out to explain the posts you have yet to address.

How do you know that I am not? I will tell you this, you would be very surprised as to who listens to what I think. I do not claim to know it all. I do know basketball at the college level. Ask someone who will be truthful with you and see what the overall consensus is and see how far I am off.

One other thing Big Impact that I have been meaning to ask you about. You said in a earlier post that the dad of Hammond had laid the groundwork to move her to Lexington Christian last year but that never happened? Why would they move her to LCA when Rock had such a good team? Problems or what?

I think we have gotten off on the wrong foot big impact. I just gave my opinion on certain players. I think overall that Brown and Saylers, at this point and time are better suited to the college game. Both are bigger and more physical. Morrow I have not seen enough to make a comment on, although she will have to work hard to even compete with any of the above players mentioned after being out so long. Pittman is only going to be a freshman and has a long way to go also. I am not saying Hammond is not a very good player, I am just saying that you think she is ready for the WNBA and you are not making a good showing responding to constructive criticism.

I for one think you are getting a little bent out of shape over some others take on a player. There are lots of players that get offered that sign to high and sit the bench. Players are taken sometimes based on potential. I think thats all anyone is saying at this point bigimpact. I have saw Hammond play alot since she was in middle school. Im sure she is a great kid, but she sometimes disappears in the high school games(check the score book and you will see what I mean) and to play at the D1 level she will have to get much stronger. She is a really good player and I am in no way taking anything away from her. I think any college coach that is offering high school kids that early are just taking a huge chance. Brown, Salyers and Pittman are all at this point as good as Hammond. All are great high school players, but that dont translate that they are all gonna be great college players.

Listen I am not putting down any kid. I am just giving a opinion of talent. I agree that Hammonds is overated at this point. Lots look and my guess is that Louisville is gonna take a chance that her work ethic gets better. Saylers is a nice player, but I just think its gonna be hard to come in and play the 4 when you have never played it in your life, then to step in at a D1 program is just a stretch. Mitchell is solid, not great but solid. Morrow will get better and will benefit alot at Wayne. Pittman is young and will only get better. Brown needs to get stronger.

Stop Watts and you win by at least two touchdowns. Let him run, you lose. McCrearys line play is suspect so put lots of pressure on Watts and see what happens.

The poll is public. Everyone can see who you voted for slink. Salyers is a good player but not as mobile as Brown and Hammond. I think thats where she will struggle at the next level, mobility and at her heighth( I think around a true 6ft with her shoes off) she will be forced to play the 4 and thats gonna push her out on the floor where she has no game.

Thats what I have heard and others are talking about it also. Jones has basically had the best team, other than Lincoln of course, in the region and cant get out of his district. What do you mean he is in the middle of the politics there?

The following that the parents are telling others in the region about Jones is a lynch mob. Im telling you if he dont get it done this year, word is basketball in McCreary will have two new coaches next year.

Woodford County 18-11 Lost several to graduation Perry County Central 14-19 Enough said Anderson County 20-6 Lost some, but will still be OK Montgomery County 24-8 Best record from last year, but much younger this year. 5th/3rd is where we will see what McCreary has.

Gay and both basketball coaches are the word if things dont turn around. Thats the talk in the 12th region thats coming out of McCreary County.

Why in the world would they spend all that money and not replace the one thing that was most important? Who made the call on what to do at the Gym? The AD? Super or whom?

Madison Southern will be a better game for McCreary for sure. They are just not in Knox Centrals league at this point. Any rumblings of potential problems in the admins over at McCreary? I keep hearing some changes are coming.

What did they do the gym? That was the one place all vistiting teams hated to go play. Low light and all yellow. Hard to shoot in.

I think Knox Central is more than 48 points better than McCreary. If they had played all their starters the whole game it would have been 100-0.

Actually I did hear it from someone who watched the game. I can say that I personally did not see the game. Taking nothing away from McCreary, but till you beef up your schedule with something besides weak 1A teams and show that someone other than Watts( and he is a great player) can do something, I think most are gonna question how good you are.

Somerset should schedule Pulaski in regular season. That would solve that.

I have Mercer winning, but I feel with our starters that are injured back, this would be a Lincoln win. Good luck to both teams.
