Someone has mentioned a person by the name of Parsons or something like that, he helps the boys and is interested in coaching the girls. Anyone know about this guy?

Seriously, is all this rhetorical religious bashing really neccessary? To my knowledge Rose Hill does not have a secret gay agenda, guns in their locker rooms, gangs in their hallways, bomb threats being called in, and etc... Is Rose Hill or LCA or Lexington Catholic perfect? Far from it but it sure beats whats taking place across America in our public schools. Wanted to add this, that there are great people in the teaching profession in public schools but they are forced to allow alot to go on for fear of being sued or fired. Does anyone really know who is going to be the next possible coach?

Someone was telling me the other day that UK Player Jared Prickett was living in the Ashland area. Is he a possible candidate?

It is circulating around that Merle Kidwell will be the next Boys coach at Russell and that his assistant coach Cassity will take the helm as the head girls coach at Russell. Has anyone else heard this or can anyone else confirm this?

Just wondering how many college coaches Russell has had now? Dodd and Reed, were there any others?

Fastbreak, you should become a Defense Attorney. :thumb: All I can say about this matter is that the Eutons cannot hold the KHSAA hostage and Daddy Euton should be very careful how he speaks to the newspaper. While I will agree that his move is legit, the way Daddy Euton talks about Jackson in the newspaper is what has raised some eyebrows. Nothing wrong within the legal realms of bettering your child but to take other kids with you to another program is going to make the KHSAA take a long look into this matter. I also heard that the Barbour kid was transferring as well, any truth to this?

Must be great to have you as a spouse if you are that easily surprised, birthdays must be a hit with you. Now on a serious note, are you telling me that you have no contacts outside of the 16th region? Let's say the Louisville area, or Oldham County?

Rumor mill from the 9th Region concerning the open vacancy. 1st: Scott Humphrey (proven winner) 2nd: Tim Conway (should have never left) 3rd: Brock Walter (Great coach and has had family in the Russell school system that helped Ivan build the football program) 4th: Merle Kidwell (3 Regional Championship games in a row) 5th: Bill Bradley (Everyone knows that he can coach) 6th: Chris Barnes (Columbus isnt Ironton) Can anyone confirm these rumors of candidates? Any would make a fine coach at one of the best schools in the state.

Fastbreak, since you and Mr. Euton are joined at the hip then maybe you would know this question better than anyone else, "How long in advance did he know that his job was closing down?"

If love is the criteria for selecting a basketball coach then give the job to Russell's coach, he basically won two Regional titles for Rose Hill. Just joking, Kidwell is a great coach and great person. LRCW, you seem to know your stuff, so if you think the above mentioned will make a good coach then she will probably for sure have the job. Give the kid a break. It's like Beatle Mania or something. He is just a 17 year old kid. After reading and filtering through all these post, I have come to a conclusion that this thread is not even about D.Euton.
