I agree. HC has really been playing some great ball lately, after losing 5 straight. History isn't on the Indians side in this one though...Holmes has owned HC at the Finn the past few times they've played there.

I believe Tiger is a Holmes alum, as he's stated several times he was on the 78 (?) Holmes team, which is the reason for his support of Holmes. Come on now Q...you know me personally and know that Tiger would be a little too old to be my dad. :lol: (Just giving ya a hard time Tiger...:thumb:)

I agree. Holmes is either going to blow HC out of the gym like the two recent times they've played at HC (56-29, 56-37), or it's going to come down to the fourth quarter with them pulling it out in the end. I like HC's chances a lot more this go around at keeping the game close. They have proved to be a tough team at home this year. With that said though, I think Henley has the boys ready to go for the post season, after the close game with SK. Holmes 58 Holy Cross 43

Holmes travels to Holy Cross Tues at 6:00 to take on the Indians in the first round of the 35th District Tournament. Holmes finished the regular season 27-2 and come in winning 26 of their last 27. Holy Cross finished the regular season 13-11 and come in on a 3 game winning streak after losing 5 straight. Holmes won the first match up at Holmes 55-41. Thoughts?

I agree. It's easy to criticize KIDS for not winning by the margin that they should have won by, but the bottom line is they still got the W. Whether it was pretty or not, this team is still 27-2 and heads in to the district tournament having won 26 of their last 27, which no other team in nky can say. Henley always has them ready to go when the ball goes up to tip off post season, and I don't expect this season to be any different. They've appeared in 3 of the last 4 region title games. I'd say the Holmes coaching staff knows a thing or two about getting the kids prepared heading in to the part of the season that actually matters.

I'd have to disagree with you that Beechwood hasn't played in an environment like they will Monday. Their home games against both CCH and Highlands were packed and they also played in a hostile environment at HC earlier in the year.

These standings determine the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference (NKAC) champions.

Not sure you can get pre sale tickets. I'd call HC Monday and find out, since they're the ones who likely have them.

Not taking up for the kid, but I can see where you're coming from with a FEW of the FC fans. During the Holmes game they did the same thing to J. Johnson while he was walking off the floor with his head buried in his jersey and tears rolling down his face. I found it very classless as well to call out a kid like that. Luckily, a certain kid's parent had the right mindset to turn around and calm them down and tell them it wasn't that serious.
