I think all but one of BW's injuries this season came after the games were well out of reach. The coaches are stuck in a constant catch 22. If they take 'em out, folks think they should've stayed in longer...if a player gets hurt when you're up by 3-4 TD's against a lesser opponent...then everyone screams "why were they still in the game?". Regardless of which avenue a coach chooses he will be "right" AND "wrong"...

Hey TP...I really appreciate the hospitality from both your family and westsider. I had hoped you were a good guy and not the person you sometimes tend to be on here. I would love to have met Snake, but by then his legs were already dangling from #9's butt You guys were every bit as advertised and it was certainly a classic football game that I will remember forever. The woulda/coulda/shoulda/what if's always come up after intense contests and are a total waste of time because the outcome never changes. I'm just glad it ended with the outcome of the game still hanging and hopefully proved we were also as advertised. I would like for you to extend my Son's deepest apologies to the senior that was carted off the field. He felt/heard his ankle break and it is still bothering him really bad. Especially after reading he was a senior. My boy plays hard, but he's still a kid and feels just terrible. Also, I knew nothing about Coach Morris, but after he and the staff took my Son to the side to talk with him after the game...I will forever be grateful for what he did and said to my boy. Lastly, you and Snake just need to just stop sandbagging about the Hazzard game. Same stuff different game! No way will their defense be as strong/athletic/fast off the line or secondary as you just faced. I will also guarantee their running game can't compete...the best match-up for a state championship game just took place Good luck, Man!

Wow! last years team was referred to by some as possibly the best 1A team in history...and this one is better? Thanks for the poll update. I was just curious if any of the polls gave BW a chance or if those same polls felt we had made up any ground as most feel BW hasn't. As always in games like this, timely mistakes & penalties need to be avoided and also hope it stays close so neither team is forced to throw out the gameplan.

I'm sure the MF faithful have an immediate answer...is there "any" media predictions out there that is giving BW a chance? meaning...massey, writers, etc..

Whew! without a doubt a ton to overcome. They definitely seem unbeatable and perhaps they, or at least key players, have bought into it as well.

I seem to recall the MF folks saying they need to clean up the mistakes and penalties also...sounds like both teams have those issues.

We're praying for devine intervention so we can at least compete after all we've heard about your team. I'm praying for just one "significant" win so Snot will have to come up with something else original. If we are fortunate to win, we get to stop the "significant win" AND "Frosh champs" comments...my friend, that alone would be a huge blessing!

Ma'am...my family is extremely close to your niece and wouldn't miss her signing for anything. I was fortunate to become good friends with Clint. When I got to the signing I had no idea Clint was sick and my heart was simply breaking. We cried with Jenna during her emotional words about her uncle. When we got the news of Clint's passing we reached out to Jenna to let her know we were praying for her and her family's comfort. I truly hope you find peace and comfort for your great loss. He hung on long enough to be sitting at the table to see Jenna sign her LOI. He struggled, but stood up to acknowledge Jenna during the ceremony...extremely heart wrenching. Our prayers are with the family.

Yes, but 3 of these 4 played their JV/Frosh 2-3 qtrs...apples to oranges. My 1st thought wasn't the amount of points scored...it was how many pts were given up. I thought this score was from an AAU Bball game accidently posted in this forum. Congrat's to Conner!

I'm with ya TP! I'm not sure how great your defense is since it really hasn't been tested, but I'm sure it's very good. I just get a kick out of you guys saying "we'll know BW after the NCC game..then, it wasn't a big deal...they really weren't that good", come on guys! Anyway, I've watched 3 of your games and I have the same feeling you do about us...not overly impressed! I may have been nervous about your PT win, but after hearing about all of their injuries including losing their QB in the 1st series...is that win really worth hanging your hat on? how about 3-7 Graves? 2-8 Evansville team? Any others? Seriously, for the most part I value your opinion, but I blow the others off now because their posts are too predictable. We left 15pts on the field against a pretty good NCC team and didn't need to show the pass. Hightchew is an animal, but we won't face another QB like him...I like our chances the rest of the way...with the same confidence you have about your team.
