I'm with ya TP! I'm not sure how great your defense is since it really hasn't been tested, but I'm sure it's very good. I just get a kick out of you guys saying "we'll know BW after the NCC game..then, it wasn't a big deal...they really weren't that good", come on guys! Anyway, I've watched 3 of your games and I have the same feeling you do about us...not overly impressed! I may have been nervous about your PT win, but after hearing about all of their injuries including losing their QB in the 1st series...is that win really worth hanging your hat on? how about 3-7 Graves? 2-8 Evansville team? Any others? Seriously, for the most part I value your opinion, but I blow the others off now because their posts are too predictable. We left 15pts on the field against a pretty good NCC team and didn't need to show the pass. Hightchew is an animal, but we won't face another QB like him...I like our chances the rest of the way...with the same confidence you have about your team.

Relax B&G...it's not a shot at you folks nor do BW fans agree with TP's statement. Its just another typical MF shot at BW to suck our fans into another nonsense off-topic discussion. You guys were great last year, very very good again this year, but you'll need a healthy QB to repeat. I've seen you play 3 times this season and this was by far the best performance that "I" watched. If fully healthy, you'll repeat. We pull for each other now!

You are some piece of work brother! We start a non-QB, D-lineman at FB, ton of injuries, 99% running game, and still beat the undefeated #1 2A team..could've punched in another TD at the end...still get no props! No BW folks take shots in the MF threads, but you folks can't help yourselves. Come Monday, I'll be very curious to see if any polls have the intestinal fortitude

VoR...I love your optimism, but installing a brand new offense 3-4 days and competing against a top team may be asking too much. Let's hope some get healthy within a few weeks so the seniors get to play a little more before it's over.

TP, the MF arrogance preceeds you, as always. I said nearly the same thing yesterday when someone said "what if it's LHC and not MF" and I said "if if if we are blessed to make it to the championship without beating MF@MF it will still be exciting, but hollow". As I'm sure it is with your boys, I can absolutely promise you that these BW boys want nothing more than to compete against the #1 1A team in the state on their field. This is just the longest I've lasted after being reinstated and buying a new user name (more than once). Mr Guru booted me a couple of times for letting knuckleheads in the past know how I really felt. I had to learn how to just tolerate non-sense users a bit better and consider the source rather than getting sucked in to stupidity. Fortunately, these threads are usually so valuable that I have no need to worry, thank Goodness!

Both teams already have to overcome some key injuries so let's hope we're done with those.

Agree "Perhaps" if BW beats NCC there may be a little more justification for swapping 1 & 2, but since we've stuck with the "#1 till they lose" phylosophy all season then may as well just let it play out.

He said last week that he plans to be back for the BW game. With district play beginning next week it might not be such a wise idea.

Agree. At first I was surprised the E-town 1's stayed in the game, but then I realized they may not have had enough 2's. Another thing, it could have been to make the score look more respectable or to perhaps work on some stuff, but I wasn't so sure about the onside kicks against the 2's. Oh well, ta gotta do what ya gotta do.

All great questions! One thing I can guarantee, there is no way BW is taking anything lightly this week. How could they? This poll will be seriously scewed and thank goodness it doesn't reflect what the BW faithful, or the team, believes. Dixie has the strength's to give the BW defense fits; however, even though the BW offense was dealt a heavy blow on Friday night, it still has strength's that will give Dixie fits. On paper, both teams will put up some points.

I will never claim to know much about the game, but I would've thought the ends are responsible for protecting the edge and keeping the runner inside. Oh well, I guess that's why I'm in the stands.

Perhaps coming off of emabarrassing Conner in a scrimmage, then Goshen, SK, twighlight zone game at Holmes, then HC...these kids perhaps got a little complacent (perhaps due to being Frosh champs, right SS!). Without a doubt it would have been different (not necessarily the outcome) without the TO's at CC, but it happened and the boy's paid the price and it stings. I also don't think the Boone/CC game would have been as close "if" it had been at @CC (carpet) on a Saturday afternoon, but it wasn't, so we'll never know. I just watched SK give NCC all they could handle and they were fortunate to get out of there with the win. So don't take SK too lightly. Snot, ya got what ya wanted with this thread, Congrats!. BW has won all the games they were supposed to win and lost all games they weren't favored in (expect for NCC), including against the mightly Cards. The shot to try to embarrass BW wasn't really necessary, but it is what it is and people are people...You Win!

R57 said "no one ever said MF would beat BW (paraphrasing)...I "only" said "not true, "A" MF fan said they'd beat BW with ease"...that's it Fellas! I never said "everyone" thinks that nor made it a blanket statement so don't put words in my mouth. MF very well may beat BW with ease, but goodness, is it really necessary to be so arrogant about it in Sept? Come on, you fellas have way too much time on your hands. I know it's tough, but your glory days are over so stop trying to live through these kids...just enjoy watching these kids play and try being a little humble in your childrens' success.
