This rule is not new nor is it enforced by the referees but is completely on the coaches. I have seen it work so that all players get in by subbing all jrs. out when eighth graders are given playing time and I have seen teams say our jv team is dominated by eight graders and we will not play if we cannot play our eighth graders the whole game hence the Jrs. don't play. Coaches usually work this out pregame. Juniors probably should not play Jv. but coaches have a hard time cutting them and then (coaches) have boxed themselves in when they have senior's who are not as skilled as juniors. And yes soccer is a contact sport with a wide variety of skill sets, so some teams play quality soccer and some teams more resemble rugby. There is also the teams that are coached to play physical and are skilled.

Did the school say who the NCC head coach was going to be for this year? I did see that the Anderson head coach had resigned at the end of their season. I'm sticking with AD as the next head coach.

I'm pretty sure if Trinity wanted to play a GCL team they would have been able to find a game since they usually have to play three or four teams from outside the state to fill their schedule.

Just a little confused as no Lexington Catholic or Owensboro catholic in the top twenty after coming to nky and beating all comers winning the local tournament at Connor.

The easy guess would be a current players dad who is already a HS coach in Ohio.

Beg to differ, but obviously centerref you must have forgot. I was there and saw this play as well. My parents told me growing up that two wrongs never made it right. In this case it was three wrongs. And of course it still wasn't right. 1. The Cooper player was holding the Scott players left leg. WRONG!!! 2. The Scott player in an attempt to free his leg his foot did hit the Cooper players head. WRONG!! 3. The worst wrong of them the AR just stood there and did nothing why because he wasn't watching the play until the end. If the AR was doing his job the CR would have carded both players with a yellow. And to answer other question from earlier this I believe this is the 1st red card this player has had in three years and rarely ever is carded at all.

The good coaches don't complain on every call like Scott coaches do. The good ones know when to question and when to let it go. The players have also taken their que from the coaches and it shows on the field. I get working the refs and the Scott coach does not work the refs he questions every call NO MATTER WHAT.

I thought that the St Henry field didn't meet state size requirements for regionals. If it rains a lot will they move the game or will it be rescheduled? This is the game that got cancelled at the end of the season because there was not enough officials for that game. If the refs come from Russell the fans are in for a trick!:(

Teams with two quality keepers are very lucky. If you don't have a clear number one play both and keep them sharp. Keepers are one hard collision away from missing a number of matches. When CC keep had to sit out two game suspension it showed. I am amazed at all the quality keepers in NKY.
