Holmes will be hard to beat. I don't think NCC could do that again. Holmes played bad and NCC just got a few breaks. Holmes will bring the A game to the tourney!

I'd say Holy Cross, NewCath, LLoyd, Newport, Beechwood, Villa, Heritage,Ludlow, Dayton, Bellevue, St. Henry, Silver Grove, Walton Verona. Did I miss anyone???

It's to my understanding that the Boone Co school system has to hire from within if a "qualified" applicant wants the job 1st. I have know idea who's applied but it makes sense for a private school coach to get into the public school system and get that retirement padded a bit! I'm sure they'll hire the right guy!

Did Bryan and Love play for Villa?

Look for Helmer to beat out O'hara at 2nd. Helmer has more range and his arm strength is much better for turning the DP. O'hara can hit more consistently which will keep the competition exciting. Can't go wrong with either one so good for Ryle!

Not to many of those to chose from in NKY????? Josh Brown is a good size kid but that's about it in NKY for size? ALot of quickness though which Brown is lacking?

You have to go with Highlands winning this game. Highlands is to physical especially on the inside. NCC needs find a consistent offense and hope the 3 ball is working! Coach Brannon will have the Breds ready to play!:thumb:

I have to respectfully disagree with overachieve. NCC has good players but it doesn't loook like they play to their strengths. Break it down just a bit; Pangallo yes he's small but has handles and can pass get more aggressive with him and make people stop him, right now you don't have to gaurd him. Lipscomb shoots well with a slow release so why doesn't he get the ball sooner coming off a hard screen? Connor same as above with a quick release. Beiting good slasher strong should set picks and get 10 garbage ppg. Works very hard. Geisler only seems to play hard when scoring?Could get 20 on pick and rolls but won't pick and can't face up so they play behind him all night? Set the hard pick, play in and out with the 2 shooters and he'll score plenty. NCC has a good team but they just can't find it yet. They're a fun team to watch.

That's not a bad record at all! I'll bet alot of folks thought it'd be worse.

Beigs seperates the "men from the boys" and some follks don't like that. He can flat out coach and you better be ready to run thru the wall WITH him!!!! Good luck Coach the baseball world needs more guys like you!

You make very good points here. So what would you in this situation? Is it time to make 2 of the starting Sr's role players and develop a team or just keep letting these guys play and start over next year. This is where a young coach struggles isn't it? What are your thoughts?

I agree with you on that. It looks like there might be some big guy small guy issues as far as giving up the ball. Geisler was passed up several times but then he never gives it up and he's notgood enough to play that way he needs play inside out and he'll become more of a scoring threat. But if that doesn't fit the coaches game plan than it's a non issue. NCC can run but that would hurt Giesler wouldn't it? Bieting seems to lose the ball when he get's moving, doesn't dribble well? Running would get Lipscomb some more looks and then help get Connor open looks which would get Pangallo more involved beating guys down the floor which he's very good at.

Sheilds and Burkhart. There was a play where an NCC defender had St H tied up for 10 seconds and the official forgot to count. Play stopped(timeout perhaps) NCC coach was HOT! Play resumed with the ball being in play for 3/4 seconds and the same official called 5 seconds and Coach Faust came unglued!!!! It was a bad night for the officials!!! I don't think they cost NCC the game. It looks like NCC might be having some player personel problems. It looks like Lipscomb who's appears to be the team leader and go to guy get's no good looks? The ball never goes in and out to him? He should be getting 20 a game.
