Very interesting, last time I saw NCC play they played very aggressive half court and full court man defense and put their hands all over you applying lots of pressure. Hard to imagine that if they still play that style it would lead to only 2 FTs or HC. Even with 20 fts in the 4th that's 29-2 difference that's amazing HC didn't lose by 30.

Well said! Very well said. It is so refreshing to see a parent actually come out and support a coach. Usually it is a very vocal minority who is looking at the world through mommy or daddy goggles and that is only worried about little Susie's playing time because she ia a "senior" and "deserves" it or some other crap like that Few people have the correct perspective and realize that this game is practice for real life. That struggling to earn playing time will help them when they have to struggle in the work place down the road. Or losing a game will help prepare them to be a better parent or spouse later in life when everyday is not a "win". Unfortunately my daughter has not had the privilege of playing for Jaime, but I'd be pleased if she were the coach preparing her for life. Some people just lose perspective. It's nice to see that some parents maintain it. Kudos RCC9. Your daughter is better off for it.

I would say since the football is in classes and basketball isn't, Winning a region in basketball is about like winning state in football. Both aren't that easy. Just because Highlands football wins doesn't mean basketball, baseball, soccer, and all other sports should be winning state or much less a region, that's crazy.

I wasn't there but I doubt it. Gallatin starts 5 guards and lives and dies by the three. Without myers Conner might not have been able to capitalize on Gallatins lack of size though. Just my hypothesis. I'd love to hear if it is true or not from someone who was there.

I could see Boone higher but not HC or CONNER. Strength of schedule and injuries. If this was just ranking teams based on record it wouldn't be much fun or require much thought.

I think an argument could be made for her to start, but she seems to be the kind of kid who has things in perspective. Her and mills coming off of the bench provide depth, ball handling, and outside shooting for sure, but I don't think ison minds being in a supporting role to the seniors who start.

If i remember correctly, It was the end of the third quarter, the possession arrow was pointing wv's way. They stayed in the zone, NDA took a bad shot at the buzzer and missed. WV ball to start the fourth quarter! WV was in foul trouble and the girls in the game were a little gassed, so letting the clock run seemed to work in their favor.
