I wasn't there but I doubt it. Gallatin starts 5 guards and lives and dies by the three. Without myers Conner might not have been able to capitalize on Gallatins lack of size though. Just my hypothesis. I'd love to hear if it is true or not from someone who was there.

I'm sure not having Meyers hurt Connor. Scott was in foul trouble and fouled out at the end of the game. With that being said Gallatins top 2 scorers fouled out. GC's leading scorer for the year had a off game offensively missing many shots she hits 99% of the time. Looked like Gallatin's press bothered Connor.

I wasn't able to attend this but I would have to think missing Meyers had to have hurt Conner at least somewhat. She is a strong and physical inside player that works hard on the boards who plays very hard. I also understand that a couple of the freshmen who dress for varsity and get some playing time were unable to attend since they had a freshmen tourney to play in. Not really. Gallatin is still the smallest team in this tournament, probably the smallest team in the 8th Region.

It is my understanding the the freshman team played with only six players in the fresh tourney. Was it an off night for Conner shooting outside?
