Coach Hard

Purely speculation, but I had heard something about Perry Central's coach looking elsewhere. But that was one of those a guy heard from a guy, that heard from a guy, that washes the guys car...yadda yadda yadda...things. Anybody else confirm?

Anyone heard any updates? I heard a couple of people had been offered the Estill job, but they have no takers yet.

I don't care for it. I've seen a few of the bigger schools run it, but not many from the lower ranks.

Wasn't Waggener's head coach a first year guy? THat one seems familiar. At least within the last couple of years.

Boy, ol' boy...the rumor mill is starting to catch fire. This is my favorite part of the year. I just heard about Estill's opening today, and rushed home to confirm it, and here it is. Surely, Jones would have another job lined up. I hadn't heard the Madison Central rumor. I really don't see the DW going over well at Central. They've ran a more run and shoot style for so long, just don't see it going over. However, if you've seen any of my posts, you know I'm a huge fan of the DW. Wherever Coach Jones ends up, it should be interesting to watch. Any ideas on who Estill would be looking at?

I hope the Engineers layeth the smackdown. Really this is probably the most interesting game of the night. Lots of intangibles with this one. Will Estill come in super confident, knowing that they beat themselves last time? Will Breathitt com in and want to prove that last time was a fluke? Can Estill's defense keep Breathitt out? Can Breathitt figure some way to stop the Engineer running game? LET'S GET READY TO RUUUUMMMMBBBBLLLLEEEE

Man, Central just can't get over the regional hump. High hopes for this year's team with the ratings being so gracious to them all year.

HAHAHAHA...it is never too early for the hottest topics. Last year was my first time on this site, and the job openings were the most interesting and hottest debated topics.

I can't confirm any at all. I'd say that Dale Estes, who was the interim will definitely get an interview. He's been the D-Coord for a few seasons. He never actually played, but stuck around the program long enough to work his way up the coaching ranks.

Wheels are really coming off fast. Hopefully they will see that as a sign of going in a totally different direction with their whole approach.

The double wing will pound the Cardinals into submission. Estill wins this one by 2 or 3 TDs.

What about Bullit Central at Madison Central?? Both 8-2 I believe.

This is just speculation, but I would think they would be in the district with Lynn Camp, Williamsburg, Campbellsvile, and Clinton County. At least if I were doing the scheduling that would be how it would go. Actually, I would take C-ville out of it and put them a little closer to home. 2hr minimum for a district game is ridiculous.

I should have clarified, yes their schedule is weak. But, you guys know we are talking about teenage boys here, and their egos needed these wins to keep this program afloat. I'm all for that schedule for those boys to get a little confidence rolling. I knew a lot of you would probably jump on lack of schedule. They are not in district play this year anyway. Put me in the same situation as a coach or AD, and I'm trying to line up as many cupcakes as I can get!!! Haha

I just saw in the paper, that Berea won again. I know they will not be entering district play again until next year, but kudos to the Berea players and coaching staff. Great turnaround from 2 years ago!!!:ylsuper::dancingpa

Defensive Coodinator, Dale Estes will be stepping in, according to the newspaper. Coach Wiseman is a real gentleman, and I'm sad to see him go. Insane to see a coach with that schedule, the district championship last year, and still in the strong running this year, get ousted. Crazy. Wish Coach Wiseman the best in the future. I'm sure he knows Coach Hard has tons of respect for him!!!

Doesn't Morgan county have a new coach this season? How are things going, obviously this one didn't turn out great, but how does he seem to be fitting in to what they were looking for. I remember this one being talked about quite a bit back in the day. What say you Morgan county?

No I wasn't at the game. But I think the SemperFiFalcon nailed it. All the TDs scored by just 4 guys??? And let me clarify, I'm not saying to tell your subs not to play hard, but surely coaches know going in if it is going to get out of hand that bad. Maybe let your 3 stringers in earlier.

Sorry guys...I know it seems like only one game, but this has been brewing a while. Truth be told, I don't care for either program...I used to play against both when I played and considered them a rivalry...I just hate these ridiculous scores. What does it prove???
