Right, even to this day, I haven't heard any reason why or what the reasons are, we just have to leave it behind and figure out who and find someone right for NOW. Walton needs to pick the right person this time.

Yes, I think anyone has a chance. Walton seems to be open to all, and looking at each individual closely. I think this next coach will be at the helm for a while. Not just a 2 year coach or so, but for long-term coaching position.

Was meaning the Ryan's daughter. That's taking the freshmen job.

Dan Sullivan is hand's down the best coach in Walton system, we all know this. Sullivan had to pick between which job, and he picked the administration job. From what I have heard in the past week, this isn't going to change. He will take the job if he HAS to, he is last pick is what I am getting. Not that he isn't the best but just back-up if everything falls through. Anyone have any other info on who has entered the poll for this job?

Maybe it's to obvious? I really don't know why she wouldn't but, from my understanding, she isn't the favorite to obtain this position at Walton Verona High School.

She even tried out for Survivor a few years back! Teaches at WV and is doing great!

I think that is how it worked. I am not sure if she will help with Varsity/Jr Varsity, Probably up to the new and up-coming coach, but I think the switch is already been made. Who knows?

Well said! I couldn't agree more. As much as I respect Coach Rosen and thought that if more training in coaching, she'll be fine, but losing a lot of great players from this season, it is good to start fresh. Walton will have a lot of young and new faces next year and ready to start the season up!

I haven't posted much, like normally, but I kind of wanted to wait so I have some more facts to comment on here for you all to read. You all know I am pretty close to the school, the administration, and the girls/boy's Walton team. Now from what I know, Dan is one of the last choices to get the job. Yes, he probably would be the best for any team for that matter (Great Coach, and Person) but he is towards the bottom because of his job he currently holds, which you all know. Most of what or named, are coaches that are in the mixed, maybe not all interested, but I know Walton is interested in them. There's one candidate that is favored above the rest, but I am not sure if they will receive the job. Will find out in the next few weeks. Ryan, the assistant varsity head coach/Freshmen Coach, is stepping down and getting replaced by his daughter. This is what I know so far, hope this hopes everyone a little!

Just from what I have heard, "he" ain't going to leave Walton. :jump: But who knows!?!

I wish Coach Rosen the best of luck! I hope Walton makes the right choice, I think "The Jeanie" might try for it. Just wait and see! Coach Rosen had her up's and down's these two years. I hope she might stay in coaching and may get more experience and then maybe hold a varsity position at one point. Just wish the best her the best of luck! When I hear of some people trying the job, I will sure to let you all know. I know a few people that are in the runnings now, but just waiting to see who all comes for this job!
