How do you think they let contact go when CC was in the bonus in the first half and double in the second? Also they should have T'd the kid who basicaly Tackled nerl at the end of the third quarter. Worst officiating I have ever seen.

Alot of free throws missed in this one by Campbell. But the game wasn't called fairly down the stretch. Alot of terrible calls!

The center Albrecht only had 10. They were led by Ben Franzen with 15.

True they do play pretty good defense but they just have no answer for Darius Miller(like most teams in the state). The only answer for him would be to double or triple team him which will open up Middleton and Setty. Even if they do well to slow down Mason's "Big 3" they still will only keep them in the mid to high 60's and I just havn't seen them be productive on the offensive end against strong teams. I just don't see brossart holding it close in this one.

I'm just realistic, when you get too high of expectations for a team you get what happened to Tubby Smith, He led a great program winning 20+ games per year, but the impatient kentucky faithful expected to win a national title every year which just does not happen.

I wasn't suprised by the score of brossarts game tonight. They played a very weak Bracken team. Mason actually being well rested for this tournament will roll over Brossart by 30 or more.

Brossart vs. Campbell at the Middle school is a great atmosphere. All you see is a sea of green and white on one side and a sea of purple and gold on the other. But i'd have to say that Masnon County's Feildhouse is still the place to go.

Well apparently that stratagy worked because as i recall they cut the deficit to 3 in the final minutes of that one.

This one went as expected.

Lets not knock the sport of golf here. It is the hardest sport to accomplish anything individually. There are about 150 kids in each tournament and only one medalist. That one person is the only one who gets recognition. Show some respect.

Campbell 58-42. Another one of those slow, low scoring games.

I'm a big CCHS basketball fan and non of my problems with Reitz ever had anything to do with the teams "not making any noise at the state level". Were not Mason, LexCath or CovCath. I know that the best that they can do would just be making the state tournament. I don't expect them to win state or be ranked in the state. I just want them to be a competitive team and have their good players noticed by good schools who can give them a free education. I dont know of anyone who expects more out of these past and present CC teams.

Great stat. Stickermann I'm completely with you on this one. Reitz may have been better at scoring points but he was also alot better at letting the other team outscore his teams. Also i don't know what games TEX went to but Reitz never had any D at CCHS. I don't even think that Campbell would have beaten Brossart this year if Reitz was the coach. They would be a much, much weaker team without Code calling the shots.

If this game is called even I don't think that Mason can be touched, they're just too good. They're a level above all KY teams and they'll show it in this one wnning easy 74-59.
