No nerl from CC? He had 13 pts 4 blks and a couple steals against Montgomery. Also no Rash from Montgomery? One of the top 3 defenders in the state hands down. Is Anderson from St. Pat #22? He looked pretty good.

Agreed. I see BC having 10-15 at the half. If brossart could only muster 25 and they pounded BC i really doubt that the Polar Bears will start to score more than a random layup here and there until most of the starters sit.

Classic Reitz sheduling. He liked to pad the records. In bball, golf and tennis. Scott Code would never pull a Bill Belichick and run up the score on any team. He seems happy with any type of win.

Definatly the sand wedge. Off the back foot. If you get a quick wrist hinge and a nice agressive decending blow the ball will skip once or twice and stop. My favorite shot.

I was at the tournament and i loved seeing them miss out by one shot. Who doesn't want their rival to lose games? Thats what a rivalry is, a subtle hate between teams IN ANY SPORT. I know all of their players were thinking about what they could have done better. But who doesn't? Campbell missed out by 9. Jordan wyatt finished with a triple on 18, Schmidt played horrible, And even Petering who made it to state bogeyed 2 of the last 3 holes and wasted shots all day long. I personally know what it feels like to be expected to win and not deliver, but you move past it. Bottom line the right teams won. Brossart didn't deserve to go to state they are just not a strong enough team and will only get weaker next year.

If by publicized you mean it is covered in local papers the yes. I have seen many full page layouts on high school and amatuer golf min all of the local papers. Also I disagree. If other coaches couldn't care less then why are the last 2 coaches at CCHS Mike Rietz, well known for basketball and Wayne Herringer sp? who is well known for coaching baseball. If they didn't care why would they know about the job let alone take it? It wasn't just for the money because i happen to know they took their seasons very seriously.

If you were to make up a 7 man roster for each region who do you think would have the best team and why? Include your roster also add one or two honorable mention for the kids that wouldn't quite make it.

I'm very aware of that but I do think they could keep it inside 20 against Mason and possibly beat TC. I am in no way giving them these victories.

Well considering both times we either had a lead late or were tied i don't think that that means your team is better, more experienced but not better. The Camels only have 4 seniors on the team one of which doen't play at all. With the exception of Rash, Who is top 2 or 3 in the state, I dont believe you have a defensive player that is anywhere near Nerl. CC forced MC to play their style of basketball which is slow and low scoring. When I watch a game and see that a team can alter the other teams playing style that much I would have to say that they are the better team. We have a team of supurbly talented athletes who could excell at any sport. This team is just more talented overall than Montgomery. When we play tates creek on the 1/19 we'll see if we can beat a team that you have lost to. Also we play Mason on 1/15. Maybe you should make the trip and see if they give them a game. I'll save you a seat.

Yes i do. The first time they won campbell was leading at the break and the inexperience factor came into play, the second time the camels should have won if it wasn't for poor free throw shooting down the stretch and panic indused turnovers. I don't care what they did against Mason. A loss is a loss wether you lose by 2 or 22. If they beat them then you'd have something to talk about. They don't have quality wins because they haven't played anyone worth sweating about yet, including MC. And I'm guessing your ranking came straight from the BGP PRE-SEASON rankings?

A. I didn't mean that they fouled him because the coach called it. I mean that they shiould have called it intentional B. I never accused the coach of teaching the players to play this way. If anyone played for Montogomery they would end up playing this way because they get away with it most of the time. C. On that foul the ball was out of his hand and half way to the basket when the other player basically THREW him down. I bet when Nerl tried out for the team he thought he was playing basketball not rugby.

Are you kidding? Stevens played dirty all night the kid had a T and fouled out of the game. There is a fine line between playing physical and playing dirty and this team has crossed it. They intentionally fouled Nerl at the end of the third, they were pushing in the back and pulling jerseys all game long.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Campbell is the better team but inexperience leads them to lose games in the end.
