What does everyone see happening in this one? Mason county has played alot of games in a little amount of time. They will start of sluggish in this game and I think again they come out strong in the second half and win in a close game. Mason - 66 LexCath- 63

Lex Cath has to just keep their head in this game and not have let downs. Mason Co. has to penetrate inside, get Novosel in foul trouble, and break down Lex Cath's press. If im Lex Cath I honestly might not press as frequently as they did tonight. I don't like predicting things so I won't. Obviously I just wanna great game like these teams seem to usually produce.

I will take Mason Co. by 10.

Mason by 12 points. Mason just has everything going their way this year. They play at a different level than the rest of Ky teams!

LexCath (and I understand it is there tourney) has caked walked to the finals against some questionable competition. Gee LexCath, do you think next year you could set up the tourney so that you could just go play in the finals without having to play a single game? Can we be safe to assume that the draw wasn't done out of a hat....meaning a blind draw? :lol:

 

Mason County if the men in stripes call it fair, wins by 12....

I don't see Mason being able to contend with the LexCath inside game. Mason will win it if they can make their outside shots. LexCath needs to play to their strength, Novosel and Taylor on the inside plus Sanford slashing to the basket. Catholic has a better inside game and this combined with the outside shooting of Smart adds up to about a ten point win. The main stumbling block for LexCath as I see it is that this group has not won such an important game to date, hopefully this will be a prelude to bigger things.

I think this game has potential to be closer then some people think. I know Lex Cath has that loss to Cov Cath on their resume which definately looks bad but this team over the past month has been pretty tough themself. Like I said in my first post, the Knights have to avoid let downs. I feel stongly that they can at least play with Mason Co. however in their two losses they blew leads late in the game and they have to avoid that let down. And yes, I get that both teams probably had to hit some good shots to get back in those games but the Knights can't allow teams to get those opportunities.

 

The Knight's are going to have to make sure that all four of their big scorers perform tomorrow to win but it isn't going to be simply a cake walk for Mason Co.

It will be a very tough game, the Royals have to come back to Lexington to take on Catholic again in a few weeks.

Im not predicting Lex Cath will win, however YOU do realize that Mason Co. is not undefeated and can be beaten right?

I've seen Mason 3 times, Lex. Cath none. I will say that Mason is gonna be a nightmare with their length.
