Yes, that’s why I said nobody must have checked it including Baldwin. I’m still not saying it’s his fault. Very few actors are real gun guys, like Keanu Reeves, or Michael B. Jordan. It was probably the 100th time someone handed Baldwin a gun and he went through his normal motions.

It’s these tiny little microscopic mindsets that can avoid disaster with a pistol. For an ND or catastrophic accident to happen, a lot usually goes wrong.

Agreed, but when you have a designated set of people like Hollywood who really want nothing to do with guns, other than to score a paycheck, I feel like it can be a recipe for disaster. Hopefully, something changes, I thought after Brandon Lee it would have.

I’d like to think they know the firearm safety rules and how to load a magazine. Maybe I’m wrong? Maybe it’s just irony an actor, so someone pretending, accidentally shot someone with a gun that they don’t support. I feel like it was preventable. It’s also why I said they should have a gun person on site. Guru, said they typically do. Maybe he or she wasn’t there that day?

They would also know how to do a press check, clear the mag and reload it to check the rounds, and they’d also know the 4 universal safety firearm rules.

We literally know where the problem is but can’t fix it. We fixed Apollo 13 while it was in orbit. Sounds like a failure in leadership to me.

I’d start with people who don’t outright hate them. Handling any type of a gun is a serious responsibility. If you’re only doing it for a paycheck, chances are you don’t know anything about it.

Then we need change that works. The officials who aren’t getting it done aren’t the answer. We need someone to take ownership.

The city officials need to do more to secure/protect the are and create more opportunities, so less crime exist. If the same issue is going on for decades in the exact same areas, maybe change is in order?

My point is a real firearm person would know how to assemble, dissemble, verify real rounds, manipulate weapons as necessary on prop/real guns, then hand it to the Hollywood people who only touch them because a fat paycheck is involved. It’s sort of like anti-skydiving people loading chutes.

They should hire pros to check/clear/authorize weapons. The vast majority of the people using them in Hollywood are extremely anti-gun. It seems like a rare recipe for disaster. RIP to the deceased, very unfortunate.

Tubby is a great guy and a really good bball coach. I wonder if the new NIL deals would have helped him close the talent that kept going to Duke and Carolina. I’m glad he’s having his day.

I have not heard that on Trey, last I heard he’s been practicing receiving routes this week in anticipated of Indiana blitzing all over.
