  1. I have been fighting a sinus infection for a few days as well. I hope you feel better soon.
  2. Lefty, except for shooting funs, archery, and playing guitar. My dad was too cheap to buy left handed guns and bows, and guitar just feels weird left handed.
  3. I am so glad to hear this!!! You all have been in many thoughts and prayers. Hopefully there will be nothing but more good news to come.
  4. Prayers for Mikayla, you, and the entire family, Doc. Today at the Raceland High School football field, there was a mass balloon release held in honor of Mikayla. All of the elementary students from the district, as well as some High School students, gathered on the field with balloons in hand. After letting Mikayla know how much she meant to all of them, they gave a big countdown and let the balloons soar into the heavens!! It was such a beautiful sight to behold, seeing a whole community come together for a very special girl. Just know, Doc, that all of Raceland's thoughts and prayers will be with you on your journey.
  5. It's my Friday as well. Now that you mentioned it, I did pick up a record at the flea market a couple of days ago. I may just have to listen to it this evening.
  6. I am working until 3:00, then I may take the wife and youngin fishing.
  7. Ginger Ale, or anything with ginger in it works well. When my fiest wife was pregnant, (no jokes please), the Obstetrician told her that ginger was the best cure for morning sickness. Seemed to work well.
  8. Mine was a 1987 two wheel drive extended cab s-10. I got it in 1995, the day before I got my license. Man I loved that truck. Instead of getting a class ring, I used the money and bought a JVC amp and two 8" MTX Teminators to put in it, and I thought I was really something. After I hired on the Railroad, I bought a 1995 s-10 and gave the old one to my dad. He drove it for a few years and finally parked it, still running, with 256,000 miles on it.
  9. I wonder what the over/under is on the times we will hear the crowd chant "One More Year" to PPat and the Freshmen in this game?
  10. Congrats to Elloitt County and good luck on the rest of the tournament. Good job Greenup. Congrats on a good finish to the season.
  11. Thanks for the update, RR. I continue to pray for him.
  12. You found us out, lol. Seriously, I started sporting a mustache as soon as one would grow, which was about age 15. For the next 14 yrs. or so I only shaved it off twice. I even went so far as growing a full lumberjack style beard last Winter, but had to shave it off when I was offered an officer's position at the FD. Now, a strip of hair on my chin is all I have. I could never go clean shaven again, IMO.
  13. We had Mr. Cartoon. I loved that show. Even got to be on it once. Speaking of calculators, what about the Little Professor?
  14. I had a CB in my first truck. My grandfather and I rigged up an antennae that could reach out from Greenup County to Sandy Hook an a clear night. I would sit in my driveway for hours talking to truckers and people with base stations. I still put one in just about all of my vehicles today.
  15. Congratulations to your whole family!!!! I am so glad that all went well, and can't wait to hear all about them growing up in the years to come!
  16. I have just spent the last week reading this book. It was a good read, IMO.
  17. I am glad to hear that he is doing better. I haven't had the chance to call him again. Thank you for the update.
  18. Until about 2 weeks ago, I was drinking over 2 liters of Mt.Dew a day. After a doctor's visit in which we discussed my high blood pressure and weight, I now drink diet Pepsi. I have lost about 10 pounds since.
  19. I dont think there will be school anywhere tomorrow, lol.
  20. Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies with Colby cheese. Sausage biscuits with mustard and pickles on them. Mayonaise on hot dogs.
