Harlan County's schedule
What do u know of this talk?:sssh:

Harlan County High's New Coach
IMO, this is where the people on here are setting there kids, new HC, and community up for failure. Because if you are truely supporters of the program and are expecting a state championship than or an overnight instant success, someone, somewhere has the wrong grip on reality. Always set obtainable goals. So that your program gets something to build from. The only goal i would be talkin about at this moment would not be how good or bad we would be but rather simply who the head coach will be.

Harlan County High's New Coach
Without a Field General that makes these young men and the community buy into the system that he and his coaching staff puts into place. It will be all for not. Then, theres where it will take time.

Since 1990, 10 schools have won 70% of the state titles...
Jackson IMO there will be a team from S.E.KY that will have a lot to say about that for sure in the near future.

Fort Campbell 21 Newport Central Catholic 7
Congradulations to the FT. Campbell football program. Very fun game to watch. You guys played with a high spirit and desire through out the entire game. You just see the effort and hunger on the field. I thought from beginning to end they where clearly the stronger and more athletic team in this matchup. :dancingpa

Impact of Current Coaching Changes....
I dont know if this is true but the coach at ballard did not have one paid assistant coach. Again, thats only something I heard. But if that is true, I cannot imagine anyone wanting a job that did not have the freedom to hire good assistants.

Belfry vs. Louisville Central 3A State Championship
I will be at this game watching the team from the mountains dominate every phase of this game. I hope they are well rested because these bunch of young men from belfry have a very well rounded and talented football team.

Freshman Games?
I am pretty sure Bell had atleast 8 games this year.

Lone Oak 38 Warren East 35
Coach Haskins has done a great job and compliments to him and his team for a great effort tonight. Coach Bruni and his staff there at Warren East have done a great job this year also. Just falling a bit short tonight.

Madison Southern Open?
When you have a program like this I fill that you have to hire someone that will come in and be a dictator not a negotiator. Thats how these two men above run there programs. They are the captain, if you dont like the direction the ship is going they gladly show you the door. They do not compromise the character or credibility of the program for no bad eggs.

Lexington Catholic 35 Bell County 16 (4A)
Poppabear, in most instances I personally have agreed with everything you have mosted. But to think that some of the players or students arent there for the primary reason of playing football I would have to say that you are the one being nieave.

Lexington Catholic 35 Bell County 16 (4A)
The one thing that this kid does have on his side is mechanics. He does a great job in moving is feet, stepping, planting and finding his recievers. Then delivering the ball.

Breathitt County at Belfry
Wished we could have stayed one in front of you guys but we didnt play well enough to do so. Good luck to Coach Haywood and his Pirates. I think the Pirates are way to strong this year. I be a fan in the belachors for ya in the pizza box.

Lexington Catholic 35 Bell County 16 (4A)
If you knew the facts, which I am guessing you dont. Bell had 76 yards the first half, which like everyone has said was a credit to the impressive effort that the knights turned in. Now if you move to the second half. Bell only threw the ball a little, we had just a few yds over 200 alone in this half. But everytime Bell would be mounting a drive it was stalled by a fumble (3). I'm going to give the knights credit they are a good program and a well coached one also. But to ever make the statement that they dominated both sides of the ball is a joke. Another bit of information that would support my comment. LC punted in this game more than they have all year put together. But this game is over and I for one will be supporting LC the rest of the way. Good Luck and wish your team the best. :thumb:

Lincoln County at Highlands
And they were how good this season? When I watched the game at Lex. Cath. if the knights would not have killed themselves they would have easily beat the birds. I just think its funny that everyone from FT thinks they are already penciled in State Champions. Remember guys and gals its settled on the field. Good luck Lincoln and to the young man that made the statement, "JUST DO IT"! Dont talk, let your pads do the talkin Friday night. :sssh:

Lincoln County at Highlands
Yes, I watched them play LC.

Lincoln County at Highlands
Just for the record, Lincoln County is not my team. I have seen them play this year and know that they are a physcial team. Thus my statements about your team.
-
Lincoln County at Highlands
Actually I have watched tape this week and still hold true to my statement. Everyone is allowed their own opinion's on here and that simply is mine. Only time will tell.

Lincoln County at Highlands
IMO if Lincoln takes it to HHS this will be a winable game. They do not like to play physical football. Lincoln 21 HHS 14

How many titles will end up in NKY
I wouldnt say that it would be a slam dunk. Pirate's would have something to say about that.
-
Belfry 38 Somerset 21 (3A)
Very impressive rushing totals in this game. Great job O-LINE of Belfry. Good pirates the rest of the way.
-
Lexington Catholic 35 Bell County 16 (4A)
Bell had rushed the ball well last night. We had 286 yds rushing on the night if my memory serves me right. But as the rest have said, for us to have played LC close or to have had a chance to beat them. We had to play mistake free and minus the 3 fumbles, all of wish happened with Bell driving. Good luck to LC and a very well coached football team. As a fan watching this game I was so impressed with our Bobcats. They had so many chances to hang there heads and yet hung in there. Showed a lot of heart and determination.

Lexington Catholic (10-2) at Bell County (12-0) 4A Predictions
Won, that to me is a past tense word. I would rather talk about LC vs. Bell County this friday night. Where a "WIN" is up from grabs. "WIN" meaning upcoming possibility in the regional championship game.
