How come everybody else who was watching the game didn't catch the point going up on the board if their shouldn't have been one since they missed the free throw. I was their and WlGC and the newspaper this morning was correct with saying that Greenup had five 2pt field goals and 2 free throws in the 3rd quarter and the official score keeper had them down for 11pts. I add it up and it equals 12pts.:confused:

The game should have been tied going into overtime!! :irked: Some where the official score keeper lost 1 point from Greenup!! I hope they review the tape and see what happened!!

I agree they have been "reigned in" from the past but if you are a student and come to the game and you sit in the pepsection and don't stand cheer or do anything through the whole game is just awful. That is Greenup's whole pepsection.

Any thoughts or predictions on this game? I will go with an upset and take Greenup by 5.:banana:

I agree with the signs being done away with. The chants have been going on for years!! The pep section at Greenup doesn't clap or cheer or nothing. Tonight was senior night and when they announced the seniors only a few stood up and clapped in the whole gym!!:irked:

As far as the students standing and cheering for their school. I would say that Greenup is one of the worst I have seen. Their are a few fans that stand and clap and cheer when the boys come on the floor but their is a lot that just sit their. The student section hardly ever stands up and cheers at all.:irked:

I am going with Greenup by 3. Also I heard that the Varisity boys will play at 6:00 and the Varsity Girls will play at 7:30. No JV game.

I think Rister will easily be the starting QB in the 09 season for the Rams.

Not for sure about being in the dog house but it seems like the some of the starters are getting a lot of bench time here lately. Greenup has probably position wise the biggest team in the area. They still do not try to post up enough and let the big guys score.

They do need to go to the big guys inside more. If this happens they will win by 12 or more.

Greenup had problems getting the ball up the court, they had twenty some turnovers. The starting point guard for Greenup didn't play for disciplinary reasons.

I would say East will win this one in a close one. It all depends if Greenup's point guard is out of the dog house and gets to play. If he is not Greenup get beat again like the way Ashland beat them.

Greenup won by 4 I believe.

Well as you know my pick would be Cassity. If not him you might as well put the rest of the names in a hat and draw and hope that a blank one comes out.

Mr.Wong I know most of the people you have named here and Cassity by far is the best choice!

I thinks Cassity would make a good coach for Russell and if some girls transfer well so be it. I beleive if some parents would just let their kids play sports and not take it so seriously and transfer them everytime something don't go their way that the kids would get more out of the game and life in general. But anyway if Cassity gets the job Congrats!!!!!!!!
