Nice year for Newport. Turnovers were a killer in this one but I was very impressed with NCC's qb tonight.

Agreed with a key part being avoiding turnovers and stupid penalties.

Good plan but easier said than done. He has shown great escapability.

I lean NCC because of the turnover questions and penalties but would not be surprise if Newport wins. If NCC turns it over or has an excessive amount of penalties to match then I favor Newport.

This game is a tough one to call. I think if Newport can avoid turnovers and penalties then they can beat NCC.

Wow, incredible game. WV fought their hearts out but Newport was one point better. Congrats to Newport and good luck from this point forward.

WV can throw the ball but have not really had to. Selling out to stop the run is a problem for a defense because it opens things up for the pass. If you can play straight up and stop the running game then that would be a issue for them. I don't think Newport can stop them without selling out to stop the run. We will find out though.

Lloyd when Walton played both times in 2011 and 2012 in the playoffs you could say was going to be close so I don't think that part is right but the rest is true.
