That 3rd period was massive for GRC. They were on fire for sure.

Great game by Bopper and all the Cards who played their roles for a team win. Great tourney. Nice clean and modern facility, parking was a breeze, concession a bit crowded but the popcorn was delicious. National Anthem was very nice. Did think the Mason crowd would have been bigger. Good luck to all the Mason seniors and here's to a good football career at UK for Harris.

We got a slow start,but cranked up the defense and starting hitting our shot the 2nd half. This is what GRC has done in the post season. Go on a run and put the game away.

 

 

 

No. 23 Clark Co. 61, Mason 39 (10th): The Cardinals (30-5) broke out of the gate slowly and trailed 8-5 after one quarter, but then proceeded to rout the Royals in the finals at Montgomery County.

Bopper Stenzel scored a game-high 24 points and Adam Fatkin had 13 for Clark County, which will play Apollo in the first round of the Sweet Sixteen. Apollo defeated Muhlenberg County 64-62 in the 3rd Region finals on Monday night in the Owensboro Supercenter.

Tyler Black scored 15 points for Mason County.

Not to drag the 9th into this but you just don't get those crowd pictures at the BOK. Makes for great pictures and great fan involvement. And I still think the Fieldhouse at Mason County is the best but I get why the tourney moves around.
