Love how GRC completely Dominating this game turns into a Mason County lovefest over Kelly Middleton.

Mustang was correct about 7/8 full. Mostly near the bands and I can understand why as they were both loud. Gym was primarliy in red as GRC traveled well. Mason - not so much. I think it was more crowed than the regional final last year at the Fieldhouse

 

Parking was awesome. Mont Co JROTC & Police really handled it well. I am very impressed with how smooth it went.

 

Concessions - First floor was crowded, but there were a ton of people coming in and out from smoking and talking on cell phones. Popcorn was AMAZING, drinks were cold, and even the Skittles were more brightly colored.

 

Facilities - Entire building was clean and well kept (as usual).

 

This night belonged to the Cardinals. The took the brakes off after halftime and never let up. Bopper Stenzel was on fire an showed tonight why he took the 10th POY. Every player gave 100% and I couldn't be more proud of them. It was an entire team effort, and it showed.

Nothing like a good old fashioned beat down to win second regional victory in as many years. This team is talented and tough, a good combination to win games! They are hard to rattle and even harder to score on, Mason found this out every possession down the floor. The sixteenth region can keep their refs, not very impressive the entire tournament. Followed this GRC team all year and enjoyed every game. Let's go to Rupp and send some people home Cards!:taz::banana::ylsuper::jump::dancingpa:notworthy::popcorn::ylsuper::dancingpa

Just got in. Had a police escort throught the bypass to the school and then a pep rally.....it was AWSOME!!!!!!!! Man do I love this team. They play with so much heart and grit. Defense was outstanding. Held Mason Co to 12 points in the first half. We were not hitting our shots first half and why we were only up 7 at the half. Second half Bopper took over, 24 total points. Fatkin had 13, Howard 10, Vancleeve 5, Rogers 7, Blanton 2.

 

So very proud of this team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I made a statement earlier about Clark's following.I will give credit were credit is due. It got progressively larger as they advanced. Very nice crowd for the Cards tonight. I wish they would have let their students onto the floor to celebrate. Police blocked them, the team had to come to them. Good Luck to Clark next week at Rupp represent the 10th well.
