Which Freshman Teams and/or Players will surprise us in 2012? Any sleepers?

He might be an 8th grader, not sure....but, the Faehr kid at Boone has potential.

Cov Cath is going to be loaded...Bo Schu, Adam Ruwe, Noah Galvin. Scott will also be pretty good, with a core group of kids that have played together since they were 7 or 8 years old with lots of success.

I think he's a sophomore at Bellevue. Huff was a young man playing vs. boys in his knothole days. Very physically mature as a youngster.

One of the better frosh pitchers will be Mitchell Jones from Highlands. Mitchell will pitch varsity for them this year..

Many of the public schools had 8th graders on the freshman team last year that started or received significant playing time. How many of these freshman will not be on their freshman teams because they have been moved up to JV or varsity and who are they? How many freshmen at CCH, St Henry etc. will move up to JV or varsity and who are they?

Campbell County has a freshman named Cameron Edwards that will be in the varsity pitching rotation. Haven't seen him pitch but heard he is pretty good.

That's a great question. Freshman teams like St. Henry fielded primarily 8th graders last year. Head coaching changes may shake rosters up a bit as well.

Freshman Colin Suttles and Ethan Harrison have been moved up to JV at Dixie, Noah Galvin at CCH...who else?
