Montgomery County 54 Pendleton County 37

Pendleton had a decent season, but for whatever reason not the year many of us thought going into the season.

Nice win for the Indians. I would say the best team won is this game. I wasn't impressed with Pendleton when i watched them this year.

Congrats Montgomery Co. Good luck against the Royals.

Pendleton couldn't make a shot last night. Their shooting % had to be low. Hard to win when you can't make shots.Prewitt was hot last night. Why PC didn't take the ball at him and get him in foul trouble early I don't know. They did not go at him until late in the last quarter and he wasn't going to foul then. Several times the cats had chances to try and get him in foul trouble and they passed it out for a shot which they weren't hitting. Monroe was not himself last night for whatever reason. He hardly ever took it to the lane to try and score or get a foul. Maybe Simms out coached himself in this game. :idunno:

Very moving scene after the game when both teams and cheerleaders joined together in a circle for prayer at midcourt.

Any chance this was Chad Simms' last game as head coach of the Wildcats? From my understanding, the AD at Pendleton Co. is retiring and many think Chad would be a perfect fit for that job.

Montgomery wasn't too impressive either without Prewitt.

It's been thrown around. We'll have to see. I'd say it's a possibility.

Yes, but they have him!

Pendleton has invited all opponents to do this all year long. Most have joined them and a few have declined.

Not sure he is ready to give up coaching although circumstances this year may have changed his thinking.

Indians just shot the ball too well for the Cats to keep any momentum. If Montgomery doesn't get off to that hot start and this is a different game.

Congrats to your shooters for hitting those early shots but I do wish we had considered playing some D that first four minutes.

Yes, but they have him!

I know they have him and I'm just saying that when he was out of the game because of foul trouble, Montgomery had trouble scoring.
