Final.

Congrats to MC. Certainly not the season I expected out of Falmouth.

Congrats to the Indians. They hit free throws down the stretch to extend the lead. It was between 6-10 points most of the game. Prewitt showed tonight why he is the best player in the Region. He finished with around 30. Waiting on stats now.

Pendleton's fan turnout was outstanding. They outnumbered Montgomery County in both the student section and overall fan numbers

Congrats to Pendleton County seniors Jared Rering, Gabe Antrobus, Bryan Woods, and Erik Singleton. They won 3 straight district titles, went to the Regional Semi-finals twice, and Regional finals once. Nothing to hang their heads about. Proud of all of them, and they'll all move on and do well in life. I believe Antrobus has an offer from Thomas More to continue his basketball career at the next level.

Not the season most people expected out of Falmouth, but it is what it is. The kids never stopped working hard, even when times got tough. There were some outside influences (unhappy parents and things of that nature) that great teams simply don't have. I hated to see it. They return 4 of their top 7, including Mason Monroe next year.

17-4 start by Montgomery County too much for Wildcats to overcome!

Good season Cats, every team you played knew they were in a ballgame!

Prewitt led Montgomery County with 27 points.

Indians just shot the ball too well for the Cats to keep any momentum. If Montgomery doesn't get off to that hot start and this is a different game.

Congrats to Montgomery on the win...Best of luck in the semis.

Pendleton scores a total of 84 points in two games against the Indians on the year.

One of the keys tonight was Coach Wise putting Darius Jones on Mason Monroe. His size and length caused him trouble.

Congrats to the Indians for the big win. Big test coming up next in Mason Co.

Best of luck to the Pendleton Co Sr's as they move forward in life.

Montgomery to much for the Wildcats tonight. The Indians shot the ball very well. I think they were around 9 for 10 to start the game. Well maybe not quite, but close. They were filling it up tonight. Every time the Wildcats had a chance to get it close, they turned the ball over and gave Montgomery some momentum for another scoring spurt.
