$4 dollars to park this year. Is this the same as last year? I also wish they were playing the boys and girls championships on the same day instead of having to make two trips on Saturday and Sunday. Why was the double header eliminated?

A little off the topic but has anyone noticed how really few schools are playing in the Ninth Region Tourneys this year.

We (Brossart) hosted the 10th Region All "A" tournament at Regents Hall last January, and they were adamant about charging $3 per car (the rate at the time) and wouldn't budge. You can find pages of negative verbage about the situation here on BGP.

 

Maybe they simply discriminate against the 10th Region. :taz:

I disagree. Two games brings more fans. Heck, we've got plenty of room in a 9400-seat arena. It would be a great way to showcase NKY girls basketball. You schedule it properly and give them plenty of time between games to celebrate.

Park on a side street around the corner, might be a little extra walking, but its is what my 73 year old dad does every time he goes to a game at BOKC haha!

But I attended the Fine Arts show at CovCath on Sunday and the NDA/CovCath band played at the event! The CovCath Chamber Choir CD I purchased had two songs that the young ladies at NDA sang in! The young ladies of NDA have their own section to sit at CovCath games and more than just a few parents have sons at CovCath and daughters attending NDA and they get a discount if they do. Heck when my daughter attended NDA the plays and Christmas show always had CovCath young men in them and I always see a lot of NDA girls wearing CovCath stuff all over NKy! But indeed you are correct they are different schools.....:notworthy:
