I have talked to 2 people who talked to coach Wood personally this week about this opening and he is staying put in Morgan Co. I never heard him say it with my own ears, but he is going nowhere as of right now, and probably for a very long time.

I hope he does stay in Morgan County because he has done a tremendous job there, but if his wife really does work/live in Nicholasville like someone else said on BGP then I think it would be really hard for him to not at least take a good look at West Jess.

I did hear that he has a great group comming back at MCHS!

Just my opinion, but I think he would have a much better chance of winning or competing for a Championship at Morgan Co. then he would at West Jessamine. I would rather have to go through Russell, Newport, or Mercer Co., then Lex Cath, Highlands, and CovCath!

What kind of facilities do they have in West Jessamine?

What does West have coming back next year? How were the Freshman/JV teams?

What is the latest word on the job?

I heard that they interveiwed the other day, any word?

Are they going to narrow it down to a couple of finalists and bring them back for a second time?

They'll make an announcement on Monday! Narrowed it down to three.

I hope Duffer gets it. :thumb:

Why do you want to lose your coach?

I have heard that Duffer Duffy will be announced sometime next week.

Evidently the well has run dry at Henderson County.

I don't see how that's possible with the numbers at Henderson Co! That place has to be crawling with athletes!

Duffer has told the Henderson Gleaner that he wants to stay in henderson.
