With the numbers Black has been putting up at Mason, one has to think that if he played all year he might be our POY, however, I think it will go to either Stenzel or Prewitt. Top players on the top 2 teams along with many other reasons why they should be POY.

Stenzel or Prewitt. Pendleton's mixed bag of success this year has hurt Monroe's chances. McGovney is the only other player that can be legitimately considered.

I dont look at team récord i look at the Player. The he award is Player of the Year last i checked. Its a 3 horse race between Monroe, McGovney and Prewitt right now. If Stenzel continues to play Well he could make a Run late also.

You have seen all of these boys play I am assuming Goldy? If so then I value your opinion.

There are only two to be considered IMO...Stenzel and Prewitt...based on their body of work against tough schedules and seasonal stats. Does anyone have any season stats on Stenzel? I would like to see them to be able to compare to the others already listed.

No.

I think it will come down to Prewitt and Stenzel.

The 10th is a hard region to pick a POY since no one really gets to see all the teams play on a consistent basis. The NKY teams don't play a lot of the top teams in the 10th due to some of their NKAC scheduling. Likewise most of the non NKY teams don't make it to the Enquirer so we don't hear much about them. Who does the voting? Where are they from? Good thing about BGP it seems the 10th has pretty good representation.

Nice game for anyone, anytime and he's certainly ranked as one of the best in the 10th. However, I have seen most of the teams play and I have not seen that one dominate individual on any team this year. The guy who brings it every night and makes everyone around him better. In the past there was Miller (mason), Lofton (mason), Sims (paris), Reinhardt (campbell), Knowles (clark), Fawns (montgomery), Harrison (tollesboro), Seiter (brossart), B. Custard (harrison), Purdon (st. pat), Turner (pendleton) and I could go on but IMO no one rises to that level this year.

He got Mr. Basketball because he was gong to Kentucky. Same reason next year's award is over with Derek Willis already committed. And that's not to say either aren't deserving.
