January 30, 201214 yr Okay...I'll admit it. I'm one of the 14 people who are watching it. Don't really care about the game itself, but want to see how the 4 Bengals do. AJ Green with a TD on his first reception in the first quarter, if anybody's interested.
January 30, 201214 yr Author The nose hair looks pretty good. Moving on to the ears. God must have a perverse sense of humor. Ear hair grows faster than nose hair. You young guys, take advantage of your youth, because I'm reporting nothing but the truth. Glad to see A.J. with a TD catch, by the way (seriously). With the Pro Bowl rules, he could get 5 or 6 if he plays more than a few series.

With the Pro Bowl rules, he could get 5 or 6 if he plays more than a few series. Very true. In fact, I was talking with a buddy earlier and we said that with the way the rules are, Dalton or Green could wind up MVP in a 44-41 shootout if both are in there at the same time late in the game. Gino Atkins with a pass deflection on an Aaron Rodgers pass. Big man's got some ups!
January 30, 201214 yr Dalton and Green connect, then AJ tries to reach out after being spun around and fumbles the ball into the end zone.
January 30, 201214 yr Gino with a near sack (which is Pro-Bowl oddity)...on Cam Newton, believe it or not. Speaking of Newton, he looks absolutely horrible compared to Brees and Rodgers under the same conditions.
January 30, 201214 yr Brandon Marshall with a sick TD recption. Double covered, the ball (thrown by Dalton) goes off one defender, then as Marshall is falling to the ground, it goes off his knee, and he slides into the end zone and catches the ball.
January 30, 201214 yr I was at Hooters watching the Royal Rumble, Pro Bowl, and of coarse enjoying the scenary. The Bengal players presented theirsevles well. All three AFC QB's including Dalton threw 2 touchdown passes. AJ Green got one, and Geno had a good game on defense for a game that lacked much defense at all. Gresham only had one catch in this one and it came from Dalton.
January 30, 201214 yr Under the same rules...Dalton 7 of 9 for 99 yards and 2 TD's. Newton 9 of 27, for 186 yards, 2 TD's and 2 INT's. Andy looked composed, while Newton for the most part didn't. Don't know that you can take much from this....but all things considered, I'm even a little more confident in the Bengals QB than I already was.

As much as I would love to agree and say how this shows how Dalton will be a good QB, I can't based on this game. Just like can't say it was a fluke for Newton having a good year based on this game. Hardly any defense is played in this game at all, so all QB's should look good. Expect maybe QB's like Newton because guys like him need offenses that go around what he does best. Carolina changed their offense around for him, today he had to play in a basic normal offense and it showed. Both guys are going to be very good QB's in the league for a long time.

Has anyone ever loved throwing the bomb more than Cam Newton? He must have averaged 50 yards a completion this year.
