As for the game, I like the Dogs at home.

 

Ruthsatz will get his but I don't think he will get enough help from the others to help the Colonels pull out the W.

 

I also think CCH will struggle to rebound with the Dogs...look for Rice to be the X Factor at both ends. CCH will have trouble matching up with him.

LOL that the coaching matchup is weighted CCH. There are many good coaches in N Ky and Booher is one of them. His resume' speaks for itself. This game will be decided by the kids. I am confident both coaches will prepare their kids well, but they are kids and you just never know what they will do in a matchup this close. I doubt the press by either team will bother the other. Rebounding and shooting will be the difference, but that is usually the case in games such as these.

You have not been paying attention Walter. CovCath has 4 players averaging double figures in scoring and Pauly averages 8 a game. They outrebound their opponents by 11 boards per game. Ruthsatz will be the biggest matchup problem on the floor.

If Holmes played m2m I might agree, but since they play a 2-3 zone I don't think he will be as effective one on one. Now if he is able to drive and make the defense collapse and then find others for open shots, you will be correct. I think this will be a game whete he is needed more as a facilitator than scorer.

Knox will likely defend the "5" while Rice will rotate between the 3 and 4. Going off that, how do you see the Colonels using their personell to match up with the Dogs. I haven't seen CCH yet this year so honestly don't know much about them other than by name with a few of the players.

This should be a fun match up. I see a lot of similarities. Both teams lack size but make up for it with quickness. Both teams are well rounded and deep. I think these two teams are a lot alike. The thing about CCH - they can shoot. You can not leave the least opening. They have shooters who can get it off quick and put it in the basket. This should be a very entertaining game.
