If its uptempo Holy Cross will win big.

Disagree.

Holy Cross may be more talented with McClendon and Campbell but Holmes is a much quicker and more athletic team than HC.

This will be the game where HC realizes how much they miss Avery. No disrespect to BG but I'd be willing to bet top to bottom Holmes is more athletic and quicker.

The only way HC wins this game big in an uptempo setting is if Holmes struggles from 3. These teams match up too well for it to be a blowout.

That doesn't mean they will win in an up tempo game. Execution, limiting turnovers, taking good shots, hitting those shots on the back side of the press, playing solid D and not allowing easy shots ... a lot of other factors involved.

Does Holmes use their bench?

Disagree.

Bowling Green went 9-10 players deep from what saw and the talent drop off was not that far off. I beleiver Holy Cross's top three players Cambell, Burger and Mclendon average around 50-55 points and 20-25 rebounds a game. I dont think Holmes top three are as talented as the three. By the way Holy Cross goes 8-9 deep.

Which is why I said Holmes has to hit their threes. They really like the three ball and if it isn't falling, they seem to struggle. Holmes' guards simply aren't aggressive enough in the half court. They are best in transition which is why I think Holy Cross trying to play uptempo favors the Dogs and what they want to do.

In a half court game I'd give HC the advantage because of their size.

Does Holmes use their bench?

Englemon, Lewis, Herndon, and Bolden will all see mins...not sure about Waller.

Is Knox still on the team ?

If its uptempo Holy Cross will win big.

To be fair, I have not seen either team play. But I have talked to people who have and all of them said that while Campbell from HC is talented, his weakness is he doesn't run the floor well at all. That's why I said an uptempo game favors Holmes.

Holy Cross buy a couple.

Holmes by 7.

Yes, Knox is still on the team.

Is this game at 6 or 8? Khsaa list both the boys and girls games at 730.

Holy Cross buy a couple.

Some are saying they bought more than a couple. :sssh:

Sorry, couldn't resist.
