I still can't figure out why Strong keep those time outs in his pocket while watching NCST run down the clock. You have to admire Bridgewater's toughness, but I question how long he can survive taking those kind of hits if they don't have some help on the OL coming next year.

 

There were some unusual decisions made from the UL sideline, not sure what they were thinking not using their timeouts and allowing around 2 minutes to evaporate. I agree with the announcers as well about the last onside kick, with NC State's punter injured, they probably would have gotten the ball back inside the 50.:confused:

That was a poor call, don't think it changed the outcome, just the final score changed by 3 points. There were several bad calls in the 4th qtr, including two pretty obvious drops by UL that were ruled catches. I'm not sure that was pass interference in the endzone either on NC St., looked as though the WR tripped on the DB's foot.

Have they faced anyone this year that possessed a solid passing attack?

 

 

Lastly, Tony Stallings who works in the radio booth with Paul Rogers is awful. GT referenced this earlier this year, but tonight I got to listen for an extended period of time and he was bad. Paul Rogers, who I think is one of the best definitely has to carry him.

 

They played UC with Collaros, but it was Pead that torched them in the 2nd half.

 

How that guy got a job working games is beyond comprehension. If not the worst I have ever heard, he was certainly near the top of the list...

Well a few weeks ago RockPride was trying to talk about how much better UL had become and how they would blow UK out if they played again. I disagreed with him then, and after watching this game I disagree even more now. UL is a team that benefited and looked much better than they were by playing in the Big East. While UK could have looked better than what they really were too by playing in the big east. UL is definitely the better team this year, however the gap is still not that wide at all. Which it does have to do with this thread, because saying UL just didn't look like that good of a football team at all in this game. I feel like they were very fortunate to even have a chance there at the end. However it did make it a little more exciting though.

We got back from the game wednesday nite. Had a great time, seats/ hotel/ parking/stadium all were fine. Cards just too many mistakes. 4th & 1.... I like the chances but dive plays with Victor one time and another everyone knew it was a dive play.

 

WE had players parents seats and there were some WolfPack fans who moved in the area, and let me say this, I've been to a few football games in my life, but never wanted to hand slap so many rude people in my life. Every time they would score they would turn around and make this little finger thing and it was just poor class. Nothing wrong with being happy about the score but why turn to other fans and act stupid.

 

They were drunk and wanted to fight. Players parents. Someone finally got the security and had them moved. Also right in front of the Cards cheerleaders, they were just plain rude. Walking out with them was an adventure. But besides that and the "L" we had a nice time. A lot of folks from both side "Rolled Tide! me.

That play would have resulted in a turnover on downs. Instead NC St got a TD on the possession.
