February 10, 201214 yr Author What the heck is wrong with Martin right now? He's scored 14 points in the past 4 games combined and has been averaging less than 20 minutes of run a game. Has to be an injury I would think...:confused: :idunno: Something is going on with his foot. I would assume that is the problem.
February 10, 201214 yr I've seen a few rumbling of Scola and Martin for Gasol. You add a PG to that team in the off season and that's a title favorite team IMO. I don't think it would be. Scola struggles against bigger guys and he's not really someone you can give the ball to and say "Go to work". Maybe he would be a good fit with Bynum though. And Martin is ranked among the worst defenders in the league. I think he's the David Lee of wing players, good stats bad teams.

Scola wouldn't be in that role for the Lakers. Martin would just be another perimeter scorer for the Lakers that they need badly. Scoring points is their problem not Defense.
