Cuz has the third most double-doubles in the league, behind only Kevin Love & Dwight Howard. He was a man amongst boys in the paint last night.

 

Also watched the terrible Wizards last night, who actually won. They showed a stat that there are five players in the league averaging at least 15 ppg, 5 rpg & 5 apg. They are LeBron, Kobe, Pierce, Tyreke & Wall. When Wall plays like he did last night, meaning he possesses some semblance of a 15-footer, he's a dominant force in the league.

 

From what I have seen and even heard about Wall so far in the NBA, he has been sort of a disappointment. Especially for someone who was a #1 overall pick. I love Wall however it seems like I always see his stat line being like 3-15, etc. That is his problem is that he does not have a consistent shot, never did in college either. That is why he struggled in half court in college, and in the NBA from what I have seen. He forces way to many shots so far too for someone as inconsistent as he is.

Im assuming that piece will be Bledsoe. He was someone that it seemed like they were high on considering they wouldn't package him in a trade, and I believe he is healthy now correct? I know I was wondering where his playing time was going to come from with all the guards in front of him, but I guess now this is where it will come from.

I'm not so sure this a big blow. Hell, it may save Del Negro from blowing games by playing Billups late in crunch time when he should be on the bench.

And he does force the action too much and turns it over at what seems to be a high rate. But in his defense, he has absolutely no support. Aside from Wall & maybe Nick Young, the Wizards roster is comprised of a group of decent backup players.

I thought he had a very good season as a rookie. He has struggled some this year--more than I expected. Part of that struggle has to do with his inability to hit the jumper. And he does force the action too much and turns it over at what seems to be a high rate. But in his defense, he has absolutely no support. I agree. If you put Wall with some real players he'd do really well. He shoots a low percentage because he has to score for them to win games. That is not his game, nor does it seem like he wants it to be.

I agree. If you put Wall with some real players he'd do really well. He shoots a low percentage because he has to score for them to win games. That is not his game, nor does it seem like he wants it to be.

 

I agree with what you all are saying. He definitely does not have much around him, however something about his game worries me. He has all the talent in the world obviously, but even with talent in college he forced things way to much. If he is not out on a fast pace he struggles, I honestly thought in the NBA his half court game would get better since it is more one on one and not as many collapsing defenses. I hope he ends up being a star obviously though, however I do wonder if he will reach that potential. Especially if he can not develop his shot, his shot has not gotten any better from high school to college to the pro's so far.

 

I am waiting to see how this year plays out first. However based on how this year plays out, I might even go as far as to say Knight will end up being the better Pro. I really have liked what I have seen from Knight so far. It's a shame he broke his nose the other night, right after scoring his career high of 26 points. I wonder how he will adjust to wearing a mask.

Worst case IMO is that if Wall had a supporting cast he'd atleast be Rajon Rondo.

That would be a decent move for both clubs. Boston needs to completely rebuild.

I think the Lakers want to obtain a young(er) PG they can have for when the Kobe years start to get really bad. If by the trade deadline they haven't obtained that player then I definietly could see that happening.
