His Runs have dropped every year for the past 3 years. Angels have moved themselves into the big market team category in terms of spending. Maybe at the end this is all worth it and it won't cripple them like it would have a smaller market team. Don't get me wrong Albert is a great player but 10 years is a long long time.

In the long run I'm glad the Cards didn't get locked into a long term deal here. I hate to see Albert not in a Cards uni any longer but it's definitley for the best. Now the Cards have a lot of offense to make up for.
