November 28, 201114 yr That speaks more to our society than it does to the girl. I'll pass on following a girl who calls a governor "mean" and saying he "sucks." I certainly wouldn't follow her, but I do find it funny that she now has that many. She's 18, correct? I don't think the parents have any more of a say in this than the school. If she's living at home and they are paying the bills, like the majority of high school students, then they certainly do. But that could be a whole thread on its own.

Crap like this is all over the media when it is just one step above something you would read in the National Enquirer or Weekly World News. It is a junk story being made into a bigger story like most of what we see in today's media.

Secondly, I don't have a problem with this particular story. The Governor's office got their feelings hurt over a tweet from a high school kid and called the school. At that point, it's a story.

You'd hate my rules at my house. :lol: As long as they live with me, whether they're paying any bills, in school or not, then I call the shots. If they don't like it, they're certainly welcome to find their own place to live, pay their own bills and visit me when it's convenient for me. Other than that, even if they're 25, I have "say".
