One - Guru's.

You and I think so much alike sometimes, it's scary....mostly for you.

I want to get skyrim but I have so many new games I can't give it proper attention. I have Gears of War 3, NBA 2k12, Battlefield3, modern warfare 3.

Too many and not enough time.

What's the plot or premise of the game?

Its an RPG (role playing game) you create your own character- you can be an elf, orc, human and a few more. Its an open world. It has a main story but there are sooooo many other things you can do. Like join a mages guild, thieves guils, assassins guild and so on. Oblivion which was this games predecessor was my favorite game of all time. This one has taken its place.

I've been trying to get a fantasy sports forum for a couple of years now. Guru has his reasons, I just can't remember what they are lol.

This is a good place to start. How many Fantasy threads have been active today on BGP? If there is a need we are all for it. However, there is plenty of room in the Pro Forum for the limited amount of Fantasy topics we have. Same goes for Gaming, how many gaming threads have been active on BGP today? For now, please use the this forum for Gaming and if there is a sustained need we will be glad to entertain the idea.

I see your point, but I believe there would be a lot more activity if there was a dedicated forum for it. I have a ton of gaming topics to pose towards other gamers but those get lost with all of the other "general discussion". Hopefully I can get this going and we can get enough discussion to warrant it's own forum.

Perfect!

I'm with you. A fantasy league forum would rock. Maybe replace the college recruiting thread, which has had one post the entire year, and that was in January. If there can only be one new forum, perhaps it could be put to a vote. A poll could serve as the voting process. Or perhaps we are not in a democracy here.

You're going to need a Fantasy Forum next year. I joined mid-season this year, but have big plans for your fantasy sports next year.

Fantasy Sports/Gaming Forum could be one and the same.

Would be an awesome addition IMO.

^ I like the idea as well.

I'll probably start a thread for gaming later today when I get home. Similar to the sports gambling thread which is done monthly. It'll do for gaming until we can get a forum to separate everything.

While I agree with Guru that there shouldn't be a gaming forum (even though I'm a major gamer), I think a Fantasy Sports/Gaming Forum would be perfect. I guarantee that would be more active than half the forums on the site.
